Inside the Military-Industrial ComplexPosted on Sep 25, 2007
Former Assistant Secretary of Defense Philip Coyle knows a thing or two about the “staggering” amounts of money the U.S. funnels into the military-industrial complex, and why it is so difficult to stanch the profiteering. Several days ago US Congresswoman Kay Granger R-TX held a pro war rally in Washington to counter the anti-war activists and made the astounding statement that, “she was motivated by her visits to the nearly 50 families in her district who had lost sons in the war. “Every family without a single exception, told me “he believed in what we were doing,” she said. Granger said it was important to show the nation and Congress that there is support for U.S. policy in Iraq”.
I sent an email to the reporter and said, “There is absolutely no way Ms. Granger could have contacted nearly 50 families from her District, with casualties in Iraq because the numbers don’t add up.
I sent the reporter a list of all of the casualties in her District and below was my final statement.
“Even if you include all 17 Fort Worth casualties for the entire city (including those adjoining and outside her district) it only comes to 20 casualties.
Not even approaching 50 affected families! Therefore your story and all of the information included is a complete fabrication. I don’t doubt that a rally took
place, but the motivation behind your article is purely political and not factually reported”. The Reporter indicated she would contact the Rep. and get back with me but she has failed to clarify the misrepresentation.
On this particular front, we have conducted an indepth analysis (7 years) of planetary science research and find that NASA serves as a proxy for the military machine, whose academic and educational underpinnings are geared towards sustaining a preferred and particular enriching lifestyle for a select group of people. All using the academic and educational arena as a veneer and launching pad for this fraudulent behavior. We will be posting this indepth analysis on our web site in the coming weeks.

Sometimes it gets in my mind that with the civilian jobs this war (and all wars) are creating and funding, soldiers really are dying for the American way of life.
It boggles my mind.
