Maverick Candidate Mike GravelPosted on May 4, 2007Presidential candidate Mike Gravel’s performance in the first Democratic debate took him from off the radar to Truthdigger of the week. Naturally we just had to pick his brain. The former senator from Alaska, who helped end the draft, tells Truthdig why he’s running, why there are so few mavericks in politics these days and why war makes him angry. Dr. Alexander Edelman you talk about income Tax. but in our DECLARATION By the REPRESENTATIVES of the UNITED STATES of AMERICA there is nothing about how we should be over taxed in it!. I think we all need to Play Catch up on History, so we don’t have to repeat what so many died for us For. Better yet I will Give you a Site where they read the Declaration to you.

Anyone Passing by should Catch up on The Peoples History. And Make your Judgement if you think the Income Tax on us is Of the People or Put there by a King! Our Federal Reserve is owned by the Private Sector.

As the little train engine said “I think I can..I think I can. Let’s prove Verne’s comment wrong by getting the word out on who the real contender is..Mike Gravel. The others aren’t contenders but pretenders. Don’t let the others steal the victory for Mike. He’s the only REAL guy in the race (besides Ron Paul). ALL ABOARD!!!

The more I hear from Mike Gravel, the more I really want to believe he has a chance. If nothing else, I want mainstream media to let him spread his message of, oh, sense. Eveything he says just makes sense. Why doesn’t that happen more often? Actually, that’s how I know he won’t win. Because I want him to…

You American’s NEED to vote this guy in. Honestly the world is laughing at you at the moment and he’s the only American poly I’ve heard that actually has his head screwed on straight.
As for fair tax: We in Australia have the same thing called the GST, it’s by far the best change we’ve made to our tax system.

I think it’s time we make it official. The media has declared war on the American people. It’s now their interests versus ours.
It’s blatantly clear that they are censoring any candidates that don’t support them.

Please. If you do not understand what exactly fair tax is, please don’t comment on it. Get completely informed and then criticize all you want.
Try going to FairTax.org and reading the entire FAQ. Here’s the direct link to the FAQ: http://www.fairtax.org/site/PageServer?pagename=about_faq

He’ good, but his Fair Tax plan is completed cracked. He wants to eliminate the income tax and make a national sales tax. It’s an interesting idea to eliminate the problem of unfair taxing. Yet in effect someone could go collect a welfare check, and in purchasing groceries end up giving much of it back. Whereas someone who makes 500,000 dollars a year living on interest could sit on the percentage of their money, keeping it from getting redistributed into the populace.
