Frederic Raphael, Reviewer

Frederic Raphael is the author of numerous works, including “Some Talk of Alexander: A Journey Through Space and Time in the Greek World.” He won an Oscar in 1965 for his screenplay “Darling” and wrote the screenplays for the films “Far From the Madding Crowd” and “Two for the Road.” He is writing a book for Pantheon tentatively titled “The Outcast Jew: From Flavius Josephus to Hannah Arendt.” His latest novel, “Final Demands,” will be published in London in early March.
