Donald Trump says he is on the lookout for the perpetrators who “seriously hacked” his Twitter account Thursday morning.
The billionaire business mogul’s tweets started out with the usual mix of giving unsolicited advice to Republicans, trash talking politicians and issuing dire warnings that most of us ignore.
And then, something peculiar—and kind of awesome—happened. The following lyrics sung by Lil’ Wayne from the Will.I.Am song “Scream & Shout (Remix)” were tweeted from his account: “These hoes think they classy, well that’s the class I’m skippen.”
Not long after, Trump—who may or may not have screamed and shouted after learning someone had breached his beloved Twitter account—regained control of the account, deleted the tweet and sent out this warning:
My Twitter has been seriously hacked—- and we are looking for the perpetrators.
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 21, 2013
Mashable:
The tweet was retweeted nearly 1,000 times in just a few minutes before it was deleted.
Hacked Twitter accounts have been popping up all week, starting on Monday with Burger King’s account. Jeep was the next victim on Tuesday morning. The hacking had been getting so much attention, MTV and BET pretended to hack each other’s accounts as a publicity stunt.
There’s no specific information on exactly how Trump’s people will go about “looking for the perpetrators.”
