Michigan’s GOP Primary: Now With More Democrats

According to exit polls and Nate Silver, 41 percent of the people voting in Michigan’s Republican primary identify as Democrat or independent.

That’s up nine points from 2008 and suggests “Operation Hilarity,” a campaign for Democrats to damage Mitt Romney, may be succeeding.
