Indie Media Guns for the Top Spot in Apple’s App Store

In a media world dominated by mammoth corporations, a progressive, independent news organization has beaten out Fox News on Apple’s ranking of top 10 news apps.

Link TV’s World News app is at No. 3 in the Apple App Store’s news category, and is further distinguished by being the only independent news outfit to make it onto the top 10. CNN’s and ABC’s apps hold slots 1 and 2.
