Two Palestinians were killed Saturday during Israeli airstrikes on tunnels between Gaza and Egypt that Israel says are used to bring supplies and weapons into Gaza—the first such air raids in two months, according to Al Jazeera English.
Al-Jazeera English:
The bombing came shortly after three mortar rounds were launched into Israeli territory from the northern Gaza Strip, causing no casualties.
The Palestinian Resistance Committees, an armed group in Gaza, said that it had fired the mortars.
