It’s finally happening: President Barack Obama is about to sign the stimulus bill. Get ready, people of Denver—he’s going to do the honors at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, of course—where else?
The Business Review:
“The decision by President Obama to sign the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act here in Colorado is a history-making honor and privilege for our state,” said Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter. “It is a testament to the President’s belief that this package will help people in states all across America.
Ritter said Obama’s visit is “an acknowledgment of what we have accomplished and what we must continue achieving when it comes to creating jobs in the New Energy Economy.”
