It’s been only about a week since Israel closed the border into the Gaza Strip, denying the occupied territory humanitarian supplies and fuel and even blocking journalists, but the UK-based aid group Oxfam is already warning that Gaza “faces disaster” if the blockade is not immediately broken.
A comprehensive guide to the Gaza Stripe blockade is here.

Oxfam called on world leaders to do everything they could to break Israel’s blockade of Gaza and urged Israel to resume supplies without delay.
Israel has shut border crossings in response to rocket attacks from Palestinian militants in Gaza.
