Here’s some good news from Iran that President Bush and his flock of hawks may not be eager to hear: United Nations officials have reported that Iran is slowing its nuclear program and inspectors are returning to Tehran.
BBC:
“We have seen a fairly slow development in commissioning new cascades,” [U.N. nuclear chief Mohamed] ElBaradei said.
He said International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors had noticed Iran’s slowdown “in commissioning new cascades for the treatment of nuclear material” while on a visit to the nuclear facility at Natanz last week.
Mr ElBaradei welcomed this.
