Samuel David Cheney Has Two Mommies

Vice President Dick Cheney and wife Lynne went to Sibley Hospital in Washington, D.C., Thursday to meet a very special new addition to their family:  daughter Mary Cheney’s newborn son, Samuel David Cheney, who’ll be raised by Mary and her partner of 15 years, Heather Poe.

Los Angeles Times:

Samuel David Cheney was born at Sibley Hospital in Washington, the vice president’s office announced. The vice president and his wife, Lynne, paid a visit to their new—and sixth—grandchild a few hours later and posed for a photo.
