The president has had two benign growths removed from his face, the latest of several sun-exposure moles he’s had to deal with. Perhaps if he spent less time clearing brush in Crawford, both Bush’s face and the nation would be in better working order.
Reuters:
Bush had pointed out one of the moles to his personal physician, Richard Tubb, on Monday. Tubb found the second one, and both were removed on Friday by a dermatologist.
“Both lesions are benign,” said White House spokesman Alex Conant.
Bush, who is expected to have a one-inch scab for a week to 10 days as a result of the removal, has suffered the effects of sun exposure in the past. He has had benign growths removed before, most recently in December 2004.
