Oliver Stone Teaming With Pro-Bush ‘Path’ Writer

The “World Trade Center” filmmaker is heading a project on the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan and the hunt for Osama Bin Laden—written by Cyrus Nowrasteh, the scribe behind the wildly inaccurate ABC undocu-drama “The Path to 9/11.”

Nowrasteh is an avowed conservative activist. Last year, he spoke on a panel titled, “Rebels With a Cause: How Conservatives Can Lead Hollywood’s Next Paradigm Shift.” When confronted with his bias, Nowrasteh lied about his political leanings in the Wall Street Journal.
