‘You Shall Not Pass’ (Quickly Into Economic Recovery)Posted on Sep 10, 2010
Using the same terminology one might employ to describe the plot of “The Lord of the Rings,” President Obama has agreed that the country’s economic recovery has been “painfully slow” and has indicated he understands the vitriol aimed toward Democrats as the 2010 midterm elections approach. But Obama took a swipe at Republicans, saying they are holding up important legislation in Congress purely for political gain ahead of the elections. —JCL

he seems to be a great campaigner, but shrinks from righteousness at the most inopportune times, providing he’s interested in some of his more popular statements.

We have huge problems with trade, tariff, and taxation policies that push jobs out of the country. Neither party seems to want to tackle this. So the problems will go on.
