Ashleigh Banfield, a CNN reporter irritated by the “muckity muck” the GOP has created, asked two Republican members of Congress on Monday a simple yes or no question. As thousands of people will get their paychecks cut, and the whole country will suffer thanks to the government shutdown, would Reps. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., and Dana Rohrabacher, R-Calif., declare themselves “nonessential employees” and forfeit their $174,000 salaries?
