White House Plays Hide-and-Seek With RNC E-MailsPosted on Apr 13, 2007
Patrick Leahy, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, balked at the White House’s suggestion that several e-mails related to the U.S. attorneys scandal have been deleted. As many as 50 White House employees have used Republican National Committee e-mail accounts, possibly to conceal communications.

Thank god this administration is as dumb as they appear. They’re learning the hard way that ‘emails are forever’.
But a good thing has come of this latest debacle. The next administration will throw out all computers, land lines, cell phones, fax facilities, and attend no meetings held by groups larger than one attendee. All communication will be done by ‘one-time-use-only’ spy message pads, using bio-digestable ink and paper, and all message recipients will be instructed to ‘chew and swallow’ after reading, under penalty of ‘termination under extreme prejudice’ by designated CIA assassins.
This will boost the economy, lower the unemployment rate tremendously, and give opportunity to many graduates of the ‘No Child Left Behind’ program, since myriads of illiterate oafs will be needed as ‘runners’, or ‘interns’, delivering the messages. In addition, the sexual seduction of these messengers by politicos, which will be rampant and inevitable, will hopefully keep the pols so occupied that they will spend little time doing anything else.
This will yield great benefits to the nation, since they will not pass any new corrupt legislation and orate fewer hypocritical speeches.
And, Justice Committee Chairfolks of the Senate and House, try issuing subpoenas for the feces of White House denizens to attempt to resurrect and decipher what their communications have been. Rather than having their subpoenas ignored, they’ll be inundated up to their ears with rapid responses to the feces subpoenas.
Come to think of it, that’s kinda what’s happening now.

Maybe he should supeona the hard drives and find the missing emails. I am glad Mr. Leahey stated that they are there rather then let them be swept under the carpet.

I am glad Leahy became upset about this (he is making quite a name for himself). I hope he continues broadening his investigations until he gets everything out in the open. For the bottom line is:
WE WANT THE MONEY BACK…..ALL OF IT.

“WE THE PEOPLE” need to continue to be outraged and our elected officials will finally move to represent us only when they fear our wrath. Treason is the crime no matter how it gets candy coated. Treason is punishable by death. Other nations just have coups line them up and fire away.
We are suppose to be above that, but then there was the Kennedy assasination. I guess that could qualify as a coup, but the Traitors are the ones responsible for pulling off the charade and selling us a magic bullet.

Steve,
You say:
“The new Congress has made a good start.”
Before the new Congress was organized we had 30,000 fewer troops in Iraq. Shortly thereafter there was an intent to introduce protective language into a war funding bill requiring the White House to seek approval from Congress before launching an attack on Iran. Nancy Pelosi attended the AIPAC conference, they skuffed her up a bit and out goes the protective language. If this is a good start I’d hate to see a bad one.
You go on:
“There is no magic bullet to cure our country of the severe problems brought on by the Busy-Cheney administration and their gang of warmongers, war profiteers, chicken hawks and neocons.”
Oh, yes there is. An opposition party with the courage and integrity to oppose even if it means that Tom Lantos might sic AIPAC on you next time out. Today’s Democrats have much in common with the southern blacks the KKK had cowed into submission during the Jim Crow years. And they have absolutely none of the moral standing. Like the Republicans they are a bunch of self-serving crooks with their hands in your pockets. Ask yourself just how different you expect Clinton to be than Bush should we be so dishonored to have her elected President. Do you really expect her to deal with Iran any more creatively than Bush has? Iran is quite precisely the issue likely to command the greatest skill over the next several years and Clinton, Obama and Edwards - all of them - bring nothing new to the table. Its just the same, tired old AIPAC boilerplate.
There’s a silver bullet if you have eyes to see it. Its called integrity.

Yeah… And the tape was “accidentally” erased. And “I’ll pull out, really!” ...
Why are these people—from Bushy on down—NOT being prosecuted? Why are the people caught red-handed being “allowed” to step down?
Why the hell aren’t they going to jail or being executed as traitors to this country and to the handful of non-flag waving, non-pseudo-patriots left in this country?
I guess Bushy was raised to believe that Nixon got away with it, losing parts of things works, and those in power never, ever, ever go to jail for the rest of their lives for screwing over the Constitution and those who still uphold it instead of rhetoric.
To hell with impeachment! Line them all up against a wall, machine gun these traitors, liars and thieves and let their evil, hateful, vengeful, right-wing, war-mongering god take time out from buying his 8th house, counting his gold and wondering what car needs to be added to the collection next to sort ‘em out.
Nothing will do at this point to serve justice except execution and complete confiscation of all property of these bastards.

Mr. Leahy, please don’t let the Whore House play a sordid game. Just shed justice light into their dirty plays during Bush/Cheney dynasty. They already sit on your guys heads long enough.

Something highly unethical if not illegal was done here. They are stalling as much as they can in order to avoid further embarrassment and possible criminal charges. Impeachment proceedings should begin immediately. By the time we find out what really happened Bush and Cheney will be out of office. 2009 can’t come soon enough for the American people or the Bush adminstration.

The new Congress has made a good start. They are proceeding carefully and cautiously. As they proceed, more Americans will support their assertive inquiries and actions.
There is no magic bullet to cure our country of the severe problems brought on by the Busy-Cheney administration and their gang of warmongers, war profiteers, chicken hawks and neocons.
Congress and the American people must stand together to save our country from these serious dangers. Views on this at:
