Birch Evans “Evan” Bayh III, darling of conservative Democrats, left the Senate to find “better ways to serve my fellow citizens.” So far he has signed on as a Fox News contributor and Chamber of Commerce lobbyist.

This is the type of corporate shill that passes for a moderate in our politics.

On his Chamber of Commerce “road show,” Bayh will be accompanied by former George W. Bush chief of staff Andy Card. The two will campaign against the modest regulatory reforms of the Obama administration.
