The twice-beaten presidential contender will return to the national stage with a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference next month, the National Review reports. Romney’s conservative bona fides were the subject of much debate throughout the 2012 presidential primaries. At CPAC last year, the former governor declared that he was “severely conservative,” and his choice of venue is interesting, to say the least. Romney has been sulking in his San Diego manse since losing to President Obama in November, but according to the National Review, he’s ready to venture out.
