A graphic on a Web site used by militants shows Nigerian Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab superimposed over an airline with text criticizing U.S.

In response to the attempt to blow up a Northwest flight landing in Detroit on Christmas Day, the U.S. has announced it is planning retaliatory strikes in Yemen against al-Qaida members, though not necessarily those involved in the attack attempt.  —JCL

The Guardian:

The US is planning retaliatory strikes in Yemen against al-Qaida over its attempt to blow up a transatlantic flight on Christmas Day.

American officials say intelligence efforts are focused on identifying and tracking down those who plotted to put Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab on the plane with enough explosive in his underwear to bring down the Northwest Airlines flight from Amsterdam. But they warn that finding those responsible is unlikely to be swift and say that identifying other “high-value” al-Qaida targets for retaliatory attack would also be a priority.

“First we have to find out who put Abdulmutallab on the plane with the bomb,” said a US official working alongside intelligence organisations. “He’s providing some leads and we’re not dealing with an unknown quantity here. We’ve been watching and listening to what goes on in Yemen and we may have pieces of the puzzle already and just need to fit it together.

All in all, this article isn’t your typical cover up of false-flag Western Terror. It does fall short of calling it out explicitly, but if you read the article in full, the last several paragraphs are dedicated to exposing the CIA. Sure they call it “incompetence” rather than “complicity”, but there are limits to how far they can go and still keep their funding and jobs, and they go pretty far just by exposing the FACT that the CIA was fully, fully, fully in the know. Those facts are enough for most to make the next logical step of “wait a minute, just how stupid could they actually be?”. All in all, a pretty good article, very good by lame-stream media standards.

“War On Terror VISITS Yemen”????  Guess Who’s Coming To Eat Your Lunch?  “AVON calling!”?  “We Deliver!”?

Back in the nineties, and again during the run-up to the second criminal assault on Iraq, it became clear the fix was in when virtually every talking-head and op-ed maven in media-land was on-board with the official line.  It looks very like the long-scripted official expansion of the war OF terror into Yemen is benefiting from the same Pavlovian slobbering on the part of reporters and pundits all over the flat-earth media map.

So sure are they of the irresistible ascendancy of their imperial “project,” that this time the militarists didn’t even try to hide the sheer flimsiness of their CONtrived excuse….paraded it, in-fact, for all the world to see.  So much for respecting “....the decent opinion of mankind,” eh?

Are theamericanpeople really ready for this crash-course in what Chalmers Johnson so presciently labeled “The Sorrows of Empire”?

HokaHey!

one giant false flag right there for all to see,

except that the msm covers none of it, I mean it covers IT UP beautifully.

Think about it, this is more proof of the extent of the conspiracy; if any were needed.

it’s all right there for all to see who the real evil empire is…

Yeah, “let’s find who put him on the plane”... you know like… that Indian guy to get him thru without passport…  most likely CIA spook…

so let’s hit back at CIA spooks?  Been there done that today by wonderful Taliban freedom fighters. 4 spooks down.

you reap what you sow.

an eye for an eye.

you live by the sword you die by the sword…

and on

and on…
