U.S. Army Cpl. Jeremy Morlock

After working out a plea bargain that shortened his time in prison from a life sentence to 24 years, Spc. Jeremy Morlock pleaded guilty Thursday to deliberately killing Afghan civilians last year and agreed to talk about his alleged Army accomplices.  —KA

UPI.com:

Spc. Jeremy Morlock, one of five soldiers from an Army Stryker armored fighting vehicle brigade from Joint Base Lewis-McChord in southwest Washington state accused of staging combat situations to kill three civilians in Afghanistan last year, told Army Judge Lt. Col. Kwasi Hawks the deaths were neither justified nor accidental.

“The plan was to kill people, sir,” Morlock said at the start of a court-martial, in which Morlock pleaded guilty to three counts of premeditated murder, conspiracy to commit murder and assault.

His platoon served in southern Afghanistan from summer 2009 to summer 2010.

Honey is not, Morlock, the boy next door blue eyes
and all.
Are we surprised,
NO WE ARE NOT.
Did we learn from the Viet Nam collecting ears on a
string like American Indian Scalps.
NO WE DID NOT:
Mutilate and take a sample home, show the family,
better than pictures.
Are we not hunters kill a deer and hang up it´s head
on the wall, So it´s American.
So you create a monster and do you think he will get
therapy for serving his country.
He did this all alone,
No Morlock is one of many;
Military knows this,
those same killers will come home,
and go to work for TSA
and shove their hands down your little girls pants,
yours to Pops.
Put Morlock next to Manning and give the public a
treat, lets the hear the conversation, PAID FOR BY
THE TAX PAYERS: A FEW LAUGHS IS IN ORDER! NO!

Unfortunately.. only the lower ring / the front-line minions… the pawns will be lambasted in the media and put on the stake for all to jeer at… yet, what about the murderous and traitorous generals on down?

Where is the real justice?

This country known as Amerika is in the business of nation flipping, like folks do with real estate, these suckers do countries.

It is business to kill, rape, pillage and enslave another people…. how else has this beast known as the Amerikan Empire morphed over the centuries when it was the Roman Empire?

What the Media Missed on Itamar

Murdering Babies is “Permissible” When They’re Palestinian

By ALISON WEIR

“US media have been widely and repeatedly reporting on the awful March 11 murder of three small Israeli children and their parents. While no one yet knows who committed this act, reports presume that the murderers were Palestinian, and for this reason the incident is receiving major attention. Various heads of state, including President Obama, have condemned it.

If it turns out that the murderer or murderers were Israeli, as some previously presumed “terrorists” have turned out to be, or a foreign worker who had previously threatened the family over unpaid wages, as some reports from the area suggest, it is likely that coverage of the incident will quickly vanish from U.S. headlines.

For now, however, American news reports continue to provide excruciating details about the atrocity. Given the amount of reportage, it is surprising how much significant information is omitted.

For example, none of these reports mention that the location of the murders, Itamar (near Nablus), is an illegal Jewish-only settlement on stolen Palestinian land in the midst of refugees whom Israel pushed off their ancestral land through massacres and ruthless military actions.

Nor do reports mention the frequency with which Israeli settlers beat, occasionally torture, and sometimes murder Palestinians of all ages, burn their crops, and hack down their groves of olive trees, the livelihood of many Palestinian villagers; hundreds, at least, of these trees, have been destroyed by rampaging Israeli settlers.

By definition they’re all murderers. And while we’re at it, how about going after the designers of these immoral and obscene wars: Bush, Cheney, Obama, the oil companies, Halliburton, Blackwater….and on and on…

Truly tragic, these young corporate centurions had such a promising future with
Blackwater or XE then someone snitched. I believe this behavior is rampant,
encouraged by that “surge” mentality. No wondering here about the massive
number of suicides committed by ground force combatants.  Its those courageous
jet and drone jockeys that rain hell on innocent civilians that make me wonder.
They rarely get to see the carnage they inflict firsthand. Oh, there are years of
payback coming. You know, the MSM has been able to bullshit the American
public with ease but all those young Muslims and Arabs, not a chance. They got all
that oil and we are going to take it, or die trying, boo yah.

He didn’t lose his moral compass, it was taken away in basic training. The entire
U.S. military needs to be held accountable for the atrocities in Afghanistan. As
usual, there will be some show trials to cover the retreat from responsibility. You
can not train a man to kill without question and except otherwise.

tomack:

What is the average sentence in this country for premeditated murder (murder 2?)? What is it in France? What does your average Muslim guy get for killing his wife for looking at another man, or his daughter for holding hands with a guy in public? What other non-Western military would even notice, let alone throw in jail, one of their soldiers for doing what Morlock (GREAT NAME!) did?

This guy gets 24 years, “maybe less.”

What did the brave Hamas guy who just killed five Jews in their beds, including a 3 month old baby get? A parade and high fives in Gaza.

TDoff: Don’t you know how to find Bush, Cheney and company? Go knock on their doors. Make a citizen’s arrest. I’m sure Eric Holder would have your back. Let us know how that works out for you.

Geez, if it were eight years/Iraqi civilian murdered, ‘W’ and the Dick-Head and the rest of their Neo-Con cabal would be in prison until the Sun burns out, if we ever caught up with them.

The test will be what the rest of the ghouls get who
are pleading not guilty. You’re right, Tomack. Most of
their predecessors who have killed innocents in
Afghanistan and Iraq have walked away with a slap on
the wrist or less.
