We will never know what the treasure trove of intelligence materials found with Osama bin Laden reveals. All we will be told is what our powers that be want us to believe, which will bear no relation to the reality of what exists. And will serve only to further their interests, which bear no relation to the interests of We, the People, of the US.

“‘It’s going to be great even if only 10 percent of it (the trove of information) is actionable,’ the official said.”

“Actionable?” meaning basis for continuing the wars? continuing the fear-mongering?  Useful as anti-Muslim propaganda? 

I agree with the previous preference for capture and trial.  So much more in accord with law and order, and so much more revealing of the truth about what happened and why during the last decade.

I think the Powers blew it. This was their chance to haul Bin Laden in and put him on trial, publicly. This would have dismissed all the “rumors” of 9/11 Truthers. It would have dismissed once and for all the notion that Obama died back in the winter of 01-02.

Imagine all the “intelligence” they could have interrogated out of him! Knowing his location, and a bit more educated planning, they could have got him alive!! They could have taken him to the Hague. The masses could have celebrated knowing that there would be a slow death and that their bloodlust would have been satisfied.

What in the world were they thinking? They said they were observing the Muslim laws on 24 hour burials?

My goodness, I didn’t realize they were so compassionate and thoughtful. Maybe they were right all along, all those little children blown apart from our bombs were “collateral damage” and that’s just the way it has to be; after all “its worth it”.
No disrespect intended towards the Muslims Laws when we sent our drones over their skies. But at least they have respected the quick “burial” practices.

Sadly, nobody can confirm what these humanitarians are telling us, now. I’m sure they are right, after all they are Americans and Obama is a “progressive” leader, so he is a hero.

But what in the world were they thinking…this was the chance to prove, irrefutably, that Osama bin Laden has been alive and well and to put an end to all these “conspiracy theories”.

Maybe I’m just old fashioned, but I like the idea of Innocent until proven guilty, even for people like Osama, Obama, and Bush. I like the idea that people need irrefutable proof, because otherwise we become like the nazis and the masses of Germans that blindly followed and believed the propaganda.

Absolute proof. That is all I want for any of this. Over a Million are dead and it looks more and more like the ‘spontaneous’ uprisings in the ME have not been so spontaneous after all. We need to demand Proof and we need to demand open trials.

Osama lived in one place for five years.  Really?

And, here’s the punch line.  Osama was stupid enough to
live in one place for five years, and it took our
multi-billion dollar intelligence community five years
to find him.
