Last Day to Vote for Truthdig!Posted on Apr 27, 2007
Voting closes at midnight tonight for the Webby People’s Voice awards. Truthdig has been nominated for three 2007 Webby awards, in the categories of News, Politics, and Blog - Political. The New York Times has referred to the Webbys as the “Oscars of the Internet,” and we’re excited to be nominated along with very accomplished colleagues in all three categories. While the Academy selects the Webby winners, the online public selects the People’s Voice Award winners. Get your Web community to the polls in the final hours and help Truthdig bring home the Webby People’s Voice Award! To vote, register here and select Truthdig in all three categories:

Another award program with a political gategory you should consider entering is the Web Marketing Association’s 11th annual WebAwards. These award provide both recognition and feedback - something other award programs don’t provide.
The deadline for entering is May 31st at http://www.webaward.org/bestwebsites.asp

Our Web Page should have at least over 400 Million Votes. Vote for his page means smart vote, but vote for Bush/Cheney was surely stupid vote !

Congrats!
I just want to know if the voting process is better than the one they use to elect a prez in this country.
Like, does the vote count, or just pick an electoral?

Robert Scheer leads in all areas of journalism. I have followed him for many years, prior to his Truthdig website. His dig for truth in politics and society in general is unequaled by any other. He is a master in his field of expertise and no one deserves the Webby Award more than he. He gets my vote with a big “bravo.”

TruthDig.com has proven to be an excellent source of information for people interested in monitoring social, political, governmental, military, cultural, scientific, environmental and other kinds of developments.
The kind of information Truthdig.com offers to grassroots people helps get us thinking and allows us to see through much of the spin and deception in some mainstream media.
Truthdig.com and Web sites like it are crucial sources of what is called “open source intelligence (OSINT),” a kind of intelligence information available to everyone.
And TruthDig.com falls squarely into the types of OSINT that average Americans need today, and are explored in the article:
“Gathering intelligence: Grassroots intel by and for the people”
