Team Obama Readies Rhetoric for 2012Posted on Jul 13, 2010
It’s a good thing there’s still time yet before the Obama administration really has to kick into high spin mode for Campaign ’12, because White House spokesman Robert Gibbs’ early attempt at facing down the competition needs some serious work. What is this, Gibbs, “Obama: He’s Not Bush”? Let’s try that again. —KA

Hammond Eggs, July 14 at 12:57 am,
I will vote for President Obama, and you should as well.
Did you watch Meet The Press this morning, if not, you should try to catch a repeat, because the Dems stood their ground against the Republicans and gained ground. There was NO cooperating, sucking Dems representing the Democrats this morning and I was really glad to see that the Obama Administration is slowly turning the Republicans weapons of mass deception and destruction around; it takes time to turn a country that the Republicans had in its death throws around, but there is evidence that the process of turning is in tact. We must NEVER allow our country to get back under the power of the Conservative Republicans mass destruction again.

Would “kicking into high spin mode” be the same as having the NAACP play the race card?
Report thisThe NAACP is the group who considers Van Jones a pioneering hero for the environment and civil rights — so much so that it awarded him one of its highest honors: an NAACP Image Award. A Communist.
Where does the “NEW” NAACP stand on the Black Panther party? What group really has the BIG problems?

What other empty promises will this weak-as-water corporate shill parade before our eyes? What other laws will go unenforced? How many more civilians killed by his wars, bond-holders made well with his bail-outs, corporations protected, citizens ditched overboard into the fouled waters?
Choices? We don’t have choices. We have varieties: psychotic chicken-hawks and reactionary moral midgets.
