Nice with the lavender tie: President Obama talks before signing the DADT repeal Dec. 22.

In honor of the hard work they clearly feel they’ve done for the community, socially minded members of the Obama administration this week launched a special sitelet aimed at LGBT voters as an adjunct to the White House’s online hub.

Offerings include video footage of President Obama signing the repeal of “don’t ask, don’t tell” back in December, proclamations such as “Winning the Future for LGBT Americans” and even installments of the popular “It Gets Better” video campaign featuring White House staffers. We can think of a way it could get better there at the White House with regard to this particular demographic—can you? (Ahemgaymarriage.)  —KA

Check out the main landing page here.

“Winning the Future for LGBT Americans”:

As we kick off Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) Pride Month, the Office of Public Engagement has launched a new landing page, Winning the Future: President Obama and LGBT Americans.  This webpage is designed to keep you updated on the President and his Administration steps have taken, and continue to take to benefit the LGBT community.

It thrills me (right on up the leg) that virtually all truthdig commentators have abandoned Obama. Shoot, I might just vote for the guy in 2012.

P.S.- Random thought about truthdig. They got that Webbie Award. Again. Are Webbie Awards like T-Ball and soccer trophies? You know, like, everybody gets one, just for showing up? Or is there really a “loony-left” category? In which case- DUH- truthdig is a lock for the prize.

Every time I see this arrogant cowardly narcissist I want to puke. The mere sight of that upturned chin, that look of hubristic superiority, it all makes me appreciate the mental illness of those adorers who can’t get enough of this twit.  He has redefined the term “useful idiot”. Trouble is, he is really a useless idiot. He’s worn out Air Force 1, played a huge amount of golf, screwed up virtually everything he’s touched. He’s broken every promise he made while lying in wait for the presidency.  Now, he just lies. The Mocha Savior does it over and over. Would would have ever thought that this moron could be this bad?

Jeez! what savage commentary by the previous commenters.. such an awful assessment of the Administration and the Democratic leadership as one-dimensional fools courting voter blocks they think are safely theirs! .. while ignoring real opportunities to advance a better life for most all Americans!

It would all be shameful, except they are right!

Adios!

Yep… that’s what should be high on one’s list of things to do during record high unemployment, a stagnant economy and a desire to destroy a nation. Well that and another round of golf!

Dar ain’t no savior like a Mocha Savior! smile

Now if these idiots would open a W.A.S.P. website
along with sites for Blacks, Browns, Tans, Rednecks,
City Dwellers, Hippies, and on & on & on - they might
come across as being for ALL people. But no, they have
no use for certain segments of society.
Look out Barry, your discrimination is showing again.

So typical of today’s horse#### politics. Real unemployment at over 20 percent and staying there; a trillion dollar useless military, a virtual Police State here at home; a global climate about to explode; and these two are bragging about DADT like it’s some kind of huge accomplishment. And bootlickers like Eugene Robinson and the other liberals on Cable news will be grinning and slapping each other’s backs. It’s hard to express the utter contempt I have for politics today and all politicians.
