Boehner Bad-Mouths Any Talk of Tax Hikes

Boehner also took a whack at President Obama’s new jobs proposal on Thursday.

House Speaker John Boehner said Thursday that the “super committee” on debt reduction should not be considering any sort of tax increases as it attempts to slash the federal deficit by $1.2 trillion.

Instead, the committee—which began meeting last week—should focus on spending cuts and entitlement reform, Boehner said.

“It’s a very simple equation,” Boehner said. “Tax increases destroy jobs. And the joint committee is a jobs committee. Its mission is to reduce the deficit that is threatening job creation in our country.”

Maybe what Republicans really need is a simple math lesson or two. —BF

CNN:

“If we want job growth, we need to recognize who really creates jobs in America,” [House Speaker John] Boehner said. “It’s the private sector.”

The Ohio Republican went on to detail a list of ways he says Washington has failed the economy, implying the blame lies with Democrats.

Boehner pointed to a constant “threat of new taxes, out-of-control spending and unnecessary regulation from a government that is always micromanaging, meddling and manipulating.”

Like it is often said, the two political parties both spend lots of money.
However the Republicans seem to think that nothing needs to be paid for, such as taxes for wars and such.

Every member of the super committee needs to be contacted and told,

“Remove the cap on FICA taxation, OR no vote for you when you come up for reelection, no matter what.

Raising the cap on FICA taxation keeps social security solvent for the next 100 years or more.

It is time to make the wealthiest wage earners pay their fair share into the SS system.

And, keep your wor, if they do not raise the cap do NOT vote for any of them when they come up for reelection NO MATTER WHAT!

These people do not need math lessons. They already know what they want the truth to be, so reality better sit up and pay attention and oblige them.

They will keep tearing down the country in an attempt to make conform reality to their ideals, because no amount of faith will change reality.

Only the ground at the bottom of the abyss will stop their head first dive.

The man and his fellow “free market” travellers both elected and civilian are nothing but shills for the burgeoning fascism which is overtaking this nation at an ever increasingly rapid pace. Oh, and don’t believe that another four years of The Trojan Horse and election of more democrats, AKA shadow reactionaries will stem the tide! The only salvation for this country is the complete destruction of both major parties and a total overhaul of our entire political and economic system before we achieve our inevitable demise as a free society! FREE BRADLEY MANNING!!!!

I thought the largest employer in the world (according to a recent report) is the U.S. military. So I suppose those “government” jobs don’t count….right? Oh, and let’s eliminate all the federal, state & local public workers from this calculus…..really, it’s only the private sector that creates jobs.

OF COURSE the private sector creates jobs. That’s like saying the sky is blue and water is wet…...but a 3-year-old knows this.

He’s right. Saying no to Obama is the smart thing to do.  Obama is the reverse King Midas.

They need a history lesson, too.

And WE need people who will point out the lies, call
them lies, and say what the truth is - IN NATIONAL
FORUMS AND IN NATIONAL MEDIA.

Bonehead’s face makes a good halloween mask.
Of course he wants no tax increases for his billionaire handlers.
Obama will cave in on this one, as well.

Russ Feingold for President.
