Sweden’s Top Court Pushes for Assange’s Arrest

Julian Assange is a wanted man. Sweden’s Supreme Court is the latest on the list of concerned parties around the globe to go after the WikiLeaks founder, giving an extant arrest warrant a boost on Thursday for rape charges stemming from last summer. The timing, of course, is conspicuous here.  —KA

ABC News:

Sweden’s Supreme Court today upheld an arrest order for WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange on allegations of sexual assault, a move that will further pressure police in the U.K. to detain the elusive Australian hacker in the country where he is known to be hiding.

Assange, whose website this week released hundreds of secret U.S. diplomatic cables, has denied the rape allegations made by two Swedish women in August. He had previously appealed two lower court rulings that would have allowed investigators to detain him.

Sweden!!! The CIA has infiltrated Sweden’s supreme court now!? Conspicuous timing indeed! Is nothing sacred? The truth is, those two women are Mossad agents on loan to the US. And it wasn’t really “rape, rape” either

Maybe Assange needs to call Roman Polansky for some tips on beating this rap.

It’s not too late to pull a Polanski and make a holocaust film.

Maybe the British will pull a KGB trick and put some nuclear nanoids in his Swedish Meat balls.

It’s like the next O.J. Simpson trial media circus show is coming again.

I can’t wait to see him in Maxim (meow).

RE: ...staying out of US hands—for once they have him, his fate is sealed
(and quite possibly waterboarded)

seriously… if they really wanted him, they’d have him - you know who you’re
talking about, right?

as for ‘waterboarding’ - it’s real but theatrical hi-jinx as well -
after all, why waterboard KSM, except for show
- KSM died in the shoot-out to take him - reported here - http://www.atimes.com/atimes/South_Asia/DJ30Df01.html

the arrest warrant is the next act - it’s all theatre - most of the players deliver
their lines ignorant to the subtext - the extra layers of drama build the legend
- paint authenticity

look at what’s not in these ‘leaks’ - it quickly becomes obvious - look and listen
here

I trust that none of this is surprising to the Wikileakers.  What would governments do, other than what is unfolding?  I hope Mr. Assange is successful in staying out of US hands—for once they have him, his fate is sealed (and quite possibly waterboarded).

Assange and Socrates - the courage of the truth-sayer. The payment is exile and/or legal prosecution.
Please pass the hemlock.

Are the rape charges a cover to smear him? To get him captured? Because of his Wiki leaks?

I am thinking they are a smear campaign, but if someone that is (in the know) from Sweden could chime in and give an opinion I think that could help us understand the story (or facade) behind Sweden’s declaration.

Thank you.

Why couldn’t Wikileaks have just released all their “stuff” without Mr. Assange’s face and fingerprints all over it?

Does he have a death wish? Or a super ego?

I appreciate the truth being leaked but I have become bored by the constant blather that focuses on personality rather than the leaks.

Julien Assange - a truly brave soul.  No doubt, the global powerful are out to get
him.  Most likely at all costs.  I hope he is able to continue his exposee of the
truth. He will need some really close and helpful ties to make it.  I am thinking a
good thought for him and appreciate his efforts to inform us by sharing the
information.

Julian Assange, CIA Agent Provocateur

Note added on 26 October 2010- If the WikiLeaks release of nearly 400,000
low level classified documents had been significant in uncovering a seminal
issue the U.S. military command is truly concerned with keeping secret, or had
the release been authentic in a sense of unscreened or unedited collection of
documents, there would have been something had jumped out and made
headlines worldwide: Covered up: More than 1/3 of American woman soldiers
raped

Geez, this makes me wonder if Roman Polanski would have been detained three decades ago if he had released a foreign country’s state secrets as well. Not giving Assange the Roman Polanski asylum treatment is quite suspicious, to a point that begs the inquiry of whether there is a actual victim. People don’t go to this much trouble, which proves that the governments and their agencies involved are admitting that getting this guy is because of something much bigger than rape.

I think Assange is so hot. He is the bad-boy idealist truthseeker; innocent beyond reality.

He is bigger than life.  I have a crush.

Go to ZunguZungu via Google, to “Julian Assange and the Computer Conspiracy” for Assange’s thinking and purposes.  In part:

“To radically shift regime behavior we must think clearly and boldly for if we have learned anything, it is that regimes do not want to be changed. We must think beyond those who have gone before us, and discover technological changes that embolden us with ways to act in which our forebears could not. Firstly we must understand what aspect of government or neocorporatist behavior we wish to change or remove. Secondly we must develop a way of thinking about this behavior that is strong enough carry us through the mire of politically distorted language, and into a position of clarity. Finally must use these insights to inspire within us and others a course of ennobling, and effective action.”

Julian Assange, “State and Terrorist Conspiracies”
