Sununu Calls Obama Un-American: John Sununu, former governor of New Hampshire and one of Mitt Romney’s top surrogates, ripped into Barack Obama in a conference call Tuesday. “I wish this president would learn how to be an American,” he said. Perhaps Sununu took one from the playbook of caustic conservative commentator Rush Limbaugh. On his program Monday, Limbaugh told his listeners that President Obama “hates this country.” Sununu’s remark wasn’t his only controversial one of the day, as you will see below in the bonus video. McCain Says Palin Better VP Pick Than Romney: Former Republican presidential nominee John McCain tried to quell reports that he chose Sarah Palin over Mitt Romney for his running mate because of Romney’s tax returns. Even Republicans have stepped up their attacks on the presumed GOP presidential nominee. The latest one to join the chorus is Texas Rep. Ron Paul. The former GOP presidential candidate thinks Romney should release his taxes because it would help him “politically.” (Read more)

Biggest Super PAC donors: CNNMoney has come out with a list of the top nine super PAC donors. Combined, these people have spent a whopping $60 million on various political causes. Topping the list is billionaire Sheldon Adelson and his wife Miriam, who have thus far contributed $25 million, most of which went to support Newt Gingrich’s failed presidential bid. Other notable donors who made the list: Foster Friess, Jon Hunstman Sr. and Jeffrey Katzenberg. The money overwhelmingly benefited Republican causes, as eight of the donors are conservatives. Video of the Day: Jon Stewart, back from a two-week hiatus, wasted no time weighing in on the controversy surrounding Mitt Romney’s refusal to release more of his tax returns and his retroactive retirement at Bain Capital.

Bonus Video of the Day: Let’s see how many more incendiary things John Sununu had to say about President Obama on Tuesday, starting with how the president was “smoking something” during his upbringing in Hawaii.
