Suicide Attacks Rock BaghdadPosted on Apr 4, 2010
Three suicide car-bombings rocked Baghdad on Sunday, killing at least 30 people and injuring more than 200. The attacks, coming a day after the murder of 25 people in suburban Baghdad on Saturday, apparently targeted foreign diplomatic missions in the capital. The spate of bloody attacks has increased fears that security could be deteriorating amid the political uncertainty following last month’s parliamentary elections. —JCL
