The House of Representatives’ Oversight and Government Reform Committee subpoenaed Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice on Wednesday to testify in May about what she knew about false intelligence linking Niger to Iraq’s supposed WMD program.  Committee Chairman Henry Waxman said Americans were “misled” in the lead-up to the Iraq war, and that Rice was the key player in the Niger affair.

She’s as qualified to be Sec of State as gonzales is to be Atty General. Or her boss, for that matter.

They’re all playing their parts perfectly…and the sheeple ate up everything they were fed: hook, line and sinker.

Doing away with The Constitution is their ultimate goal, and they’re just about ready for the death blow when the chimp declares martial law.

If that happens I guess you folks will have to instigate your 2nd Amendment responsibilities.

Won’t you?

Ms Rice, you could be a nicer lady.  Why not save yourself?  Now you know general international opinion is there indeed is this fantastical 9/11 coverup.  Then just break ranks, why go down?

Rice-a-Roni! The treat that can’t be beat!

Oh yeah? Even though Condoleeza has obviously been trying to distance herself in the past several months from the Iraq Attack, she was key to the whole process and should be held accountable.

If she refuses a subpoena she should be jailed as any other citizen - presuming that she hasn’t covered herself already with a citizenship in another country like Canada!

Guess it’s back to the piano concert stage for Condi!

They do, CG, and they will also try out declaring martial law if they think they can get away with it. Its already been tested with fake alerts on imaginary ‘terrorist threats’ - they just have to manufacture a sufficiently plausible excuse in order to be able to instigate it.

Who the hell does Rice think she is to snub a subpeona? Will someone please tell her she is NOT above the law. If she does not comply, then throw her ass in jail where it belongs and move on. This is so typical of this administration to think they have their own set of laws and we, the American public, have another. this flagrant disregard of the law by this administration has to stop.

Iraq and Weapons of Mass Destruction - National Security Archive Electronic Briefing Book No. 80 - Updated - February 11, 2004:-

“...The only publicly acknowledged evidence for the claim that Iraq had tried to acquire uranium from Africa, which President Bush made in his January 28, 2003 State of the Union address, based on British intelligence information, are these documents that were claimed to have been official correspondence involving officials of the Republic of Niger. The charge that Iraq had sought to purchase uranium had been deleted from a previous speech due to the CIA’s objection that the information had not been confirmed.

Documents 10a-10d were all determined to be crude forgeries - which included names and titles that did not match the individuals who held office at the time the letters were purportedly written - although the British government has insisted it has additional information that would support the claim that Iraq was seeking to purchase uranium….”

Forgive me for being facecious, QuyTran, but ‘Why wait until May to bring this “woe man” to trial?’  Mother’s Day WOULD be an appropriate day for her.  She has an unconscienable way of globe-trotting and announcing to the World what “great deeds” her Master and Administration are performing.  The republicans were insenced when her femininity was questioned as well as her ability to grasp the poignancy and pain of losing a child when she hasn’t personally experienced birthing and raising a child.  As an example of a woman of grand achievement (Doctorate and all)
and having an Oil Tanker named after her it is a frightening prospect, indeed.

Some thinga to remember about Rice: She was national security advisor when the 9/11 attacks occurred.

She denied getting the acute intel briefings on pending attacks. She indicated the Bush-Cheney administration was not warned. She said no one could have anticipated an attack using passenger jets.

This is an area that should be investigated fully. More on this at:

Rice can always argue that she’s ignorant of anything to do with foreign policy and be perfectly honest. These Bu$hbots have got it covered.

Condoleezza Rice has already lied to Congress on this subject once. Does anyone expect her to tell the truth the next timr around? Last time around, not long ago, she was still claiming Iraq had/has weapons of mass destruction.
