For the first time in the country’s history, Spain has won soccer’s coveted World Cup, defeating the Netherlands’ national team on Sunday in a tense match that ended after a late goal in extra time.

and no mistake, even if these particular Dutch masters don’t actually play total football, and tiki-taka has only existed as a concept for about 23 minutes. Because this is the THE WORLD CUP FINAL!!!!! So let’s ramp up the hype and just go with it.
