Want some Viagra in Virginia? State Sen. Janet Howell has a bracing proposal regarding what men should have to do to get it.

Although we’re not entirely sure her, uh, eye-for-an-eye approach encourages a true spirit of gender equity, as far as political machinations go, this one from Virginia state Sen. Janet Howell certainly got our attention. As it would, undoubtedly, that of those who stand to be most directly impacted by her amendment to a controversial reproductive health measure currently up for deliberation in her home state. The website Jezebel on Tuesday saluted Sen. Howell’s efforts thusly.  —KA

Jezebel:

A crafty state senator has done something so wonderful that we should all be cheering while simultaneously smacking our foreheads, because why didn’t we think of this earlier? The hero in question is Virginia senator Janet Howell. Wow, Janet Howell really fliped this one on them! Good on ya I say. Sometimes this is the only way to make certain people see how silly and impractile their ‘ideas’ are!

I’m not positive Senator Howell, but I think there is a big difference between a surgical procedure and a hard on.Seems like an ultrasound would be prudent considering the doctor has to go into your womb with metal tools.

Genius, indeed.

But really, she just wants to protect men from making bad decisions they may later regret, that might make them depressed or helpless, you know…...
