Obama Thought the Law Had Been Overturned: Thanks to CNN and Fox News, President Obama initially thought his health care law had been ruled unconstitutional by the U.S. Supreme Court. A short time later he got the correct information from two sources: the White House lawyer at the Supreme Court and SCOTUSblog.com. As The Daily Beast’s Andrew Sullivan put it, “Cable news needs to shut itself down. They failed high school newspaper tests this morning.” (Read more)

All About the Broccoli: Who would have thought a small green vegetable would play such a crucial role in the SCOTUS health care reform case? Holder Held in Contempt: The House has voted to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt over the botched Fast and Furious program. The final vote was 255-67. Numerous House Democrats walked out to protest the vote. (Read more)

Flashback Video of the Day: Bill O’Reilly owes us all an apology. The outspoken Fox News host said back in March he would “apologize for being an idiot” if the Supreme Court upheld President Obama’s health care reform law. It did. Now it’s time for him to say he is sorry.
