Omop, I almost can’t believe that President Harry Truman have said the words you quoted above. So I would like help from you or any other poster to give me the reference where this quotation can be found and verified.

Most astonishing yet, if this quotation is truly there in books, why the Zionists have not used this to try President Truman in absencia and label him as anti-Semitic. They have done that lately with President Carter after he wrote his book “Palestine, Peace Nor Apartheid;” that’s despite of the fact that Carter was the one who brought them a semblance of peace with their two closest immediate neighbors, Egypt and Jordan.

Shumer is one of the Republican-Lite DLC Republican led Democratic Leadership Council Democrats that care nothing about the populace whatsoever.  I am in hopes that all the DLC will eventually be removed from the Halls of Congress.  The DLC is a violation of the
Constitution, there is nothing in the Constitution authorizing the Democratic Leadership Council, but the Republicans use the DLC, nevertheless, to lead Congress.

The whole idea of a jewish state is in violation of the UN human rights, just as a christian or muslim state is in violation to that mandate.

Of course, the christians in this country want a christian state, the muslims in the middle east want a muslim state, and the jews want a jewish state.

We’ve maintained a Blockade against Cuba for fifty years. Then, there are the North Koreans, and The Iraqis, and the Iranians. Before them were the North Vietnamese and China and Cambodia.

We’ve also supported blockades by China against Tibet [once we decided we could make money with China]. And the blockade against the Timor Tigers.

What was the Iron Curtain if it wasn’t a blockade against the dirty Commies. Of course we complained mightily about the Berlin Blockade, and rightly so - but would we have complained if we could have locked out the Russians?

It is no secret that these blockades are both illegal, and effective. They kill the kids and the elderly, and impoverish entire Nations. Then we point our finger and declare them to be failures as governments and as people. All they have to do is roll over for whoever is guarding the borders, and everything will be peachy.

I don’t think it is a religious antipathy - I think the whole thing tends to be based on racism. Somehow, the people on the other side of the fence are seldom white, so why should we care?

Schumer’s political success illustrates how detached voters are from the most serious problems affecting them and the country as a whole. Unlike most Senators, Schumer focuses a great deal on local issues and this has made him very popular in New York. At the same time, his biggest campaign contributors for years have been the financial and banking industry, law firms, and real estate.
