In states far from the Mexico border — from liberal Massachusetts to moderate Iowa — Democrats and Republicans who won races are running on strict anti-illegal-immigration platforms, pledging to sign an array of tough enforcement measures into law come Feburary. Of the 37 gubernatorial races this year, candidates in more than 20 states have endorsed adopting a strict Arizona-style immigration law or passing legislation that makes it harder for illegal immigrants to live, work and access basic public benefits in their states, according to a POLITICO analysis. The prevalence of the issue means the Obama administration could find itself battling Arizona-style flare-ups in statehouses across the country, raising pressure on the White House and Congress to break the deadlock in Washington over comprehensive immigration reform. The Justice Department sued Arizona in hopes of discouraging other states from following its lead and won a ruling blocking provisions of the law that immigrant advocates found most objectionable. But that hasn’t stopped some gubernatorial candidates from trying to one-up each other on the issue. “If President Obama sues us too, we’re going to defend ourselves,” said Brian Robinson, communications director for Deal. “We’ve got to protect Georgia taxpayers if President Obama won’t.” The Pew Research Center found the immigrant population has at least doubled since 2005.
Polls show voters want the government to stop the flow of illegal immigrants. And with Congress unlikely to act anytime soon, gubernatorial candidates are arguing that, as chief executives, they will try to do the job that they say the federal government has neglected.

Of course such bills won’t go anywhere. Politicians are whores and don’t want to lose the Latino vote. This despite the fact that much of the deficit problems in the states has to do with illegal immigration .For example, illegal immigrants contribute only about $5billion dollars in tax revenue and yet cost nearly $ 25 billion in social programs.

Why? 
The practice in all other countries of the world, some rather harshly, is not good enough for the >current< U.S.Gov leadership?  The U.S. Justice Dept. attempts to order individual state authority to actively DISREGARD U.S. constitutional law already on the books? 

I wonder if implementation of the law hinders the current sneaking into the U.S. of foreign mercenaries, similar to Operation Paper Clip, 1945-1951, by members of the KLAN who were identified as NAZIs? I call them members of the “Hitler Society,” since the word NAZI is being labled as a no-no, by certain EU groups.

Perhaps the Zionists did not join the NAZI party in the 1970s. Perhaps the membership of this society were Ashkenazim/Zionists all the time, who developed the NAZI party, murdered millions of genuine Jewish folk, among others, turned the world inside out, from which it has not recovered ?

Shouldnt the title read “ANTI ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION BILLS”? This country does not have a problem with legal immigration. By not seperating legal from illegal immigration you are taking away all the time and effort that immigrants put forth to enter our country legally. They respected our laws and our immigration process so dont disrespect them by not seperating them from those who have no respect for our laws and immigration process.

Well, if the anti-immigration bill movements are failing, we are just going to have to fall back on Plan ‘B’. Let’s bring all our troops back from Iraq and Afghanistan, station them on the US/Mexican border, facing South, propagandize them that we are going to ‘Nation-Build’ Mexico, while simultaneously preventing Al Qaeda, the Taliban, Muslims, and other druggies and criminals from invading and raping US women and children, and that we must keep all Mexicans at ‘Home’, in Mexico, for ‘Nation-Building’ to succeed, so they should shoot any thing that moves heading North.

If we raise our troops’ pay to the level of other ‘public servants’, say Congressfolk, for example, plus adding the benefit of letting them keep all the dope they capture, this effort should succeed, and settle the illegal alien problem, once and for all.

Plus having the added benefit of earning the undying gratitude of the peace-loving peoples of Iraq and Afghanistan.
