Sarah Palin Has Her Own Naughty or Nice ListPosted on Dec 23, 2009
According to the muckrakers at TPM, some independent media types were refused entry to a “Going Rogue” event in the world capital of Sarah Palin, Wasilla, Alaska, because their names were on a “banned list.” The list, which is reported to be only four names long, included a videographer, a blogger and a local radio personality. The fourth person is unknown. The event was held at the Curtis D. Menard Memorial Sports Center, the $14.7 million boondoggle Palin championed as mayor of the town of 6,300 (at the time). We understand why Palin would want to keep hostile press away from her homecoming, but why ban a videographer who insists he has never included commentary with his straight reports of Palin’s speeches? Maybe it has something to do with the crowds that show up to these things and the ability of YouTube to shame them (see below). —PZS

Zaki has not been objective in his coverage of Palin, in fact it’s his website that has consistently published rumors and headlines that weren’t properly vetted.
There’s the divorce rumor, the rumor that the Palins were under investigation, the speech where she supposedly used an unattributed quote, and of course the speculation that an “iceberg” was about to hit the Palin camp.
ALL stories that originated or were perpetuated by Dennis Zaki.
I’m no fan of Palin, but let’s be honest here, Dennis Zaki has advocated against Palin for quite some time now.

“I don’t know nothin bout her foreign policy, but yes, I would still vote for her!”
I feel as if a large bomb has gone off around me - I am shell shocked at the comments here by these supposedly conservative American people.

Nothing new here.
Fascists always cherry pick a crowd to further the
illusion of unanimous support.
Can’t you just imagine a picture on the cover of TIME
of Alaska gal & Cheneyburton “riding shotgun” on one of
“W’s” paid pep talks.
And just in case you were wondering, her shotgun would

Mundt, I’m hoping your post was satiric. If not,
Report thissubstitute “Pres Obama” for “Gov Palin” and see how
that reads. By the way, she’s not a Governor any more.
“Mrs. Palin” is the correct form of description.

I am not so much afraid but angry about what is going on in
america and what o’s administration has done and will most
likely keep doing.
What I am afraid of are these people in these interviews who are

Those few who do not admire and respect Gov. Palin forfeit the privilege of proximity.

At the end of the day it’s not all the politicians and their corporate bosses who scare me as much as the average American citizen. When I talk to people who express similar unfounded, baseless opinions and then watch things like this I feel absolutely hopeless.
We are truly lost and the future doesn’t look good. I can’t help but see a similar parallel between the average, uninformed American today and those citizens of Germany who so blindly followed the Nazi’s to their own path of self-destruction. Absolutely disturbing.
