CNN has canned Rick Sanchez after the “Rick’s List” host unleashed a verbal barrage against Jon Stewart’s “bigotry,” Jews in the media, and the institutional racism he says he experienced in the newsroom. Guess what part of the rant the media is going to leave out? —JCL

Click on the link below to listen to the Sirius XM radio interview that led to Sanchez’s firing:

Los Angeles Times:

CNN fired newscaster Rick Sanchez on Friday, a day after he called Jon Stewart of “The Daily Show” a “bigot” and suggested that Jews run CNN and “all the other” networks.

The host of “Rick’s List” made the comments Thursday during an interview on the satellite radio show “Stand Up! With Pete Dominick.” Sanchez complained that Stewart was prejudiced against those who disagree with his “white liberal establishment point of view” and scoffed at the idea that Jews were “an oppressed minority.”

“We thank Rick for his years of service,” CNN said in a statement Friday. “And we wish him well.”

Another nail in the coffin… or a shining light?

http://noir.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=newsarchive&sid=aWtMTnV9.1JA

And the article reads:

Balfour Letter to Rothschild Sowed Dragon’s Teeth: Lewis Lapham

Oct. 8 (Bloomberg)—About 300,000 Jews lived in Great Britain just before the outbreak of World War I. Most were recent refugees from the pogroms of Eastern Europe and Russia and worked in sweatshops and mills. Only 8,000 belonged to Zionist organizations.

Rich established Jews, or the “Cousinhood” consisting of a few interlinked families, among them the Rothschilds, Montefiores, Mocattas, Cohens, Goldsmids, Samuels and Montagus, were even less likely to yearn for a Middle Eastern homeland.

They identified themselves as Jewish Britons, not British Jews, and strongly disagreed with Zionists who argued that Jews constituted a separate people or nation.

Rothschild became the head of the family and the de facto leader of British Jewry. Ardent Zionist Chaim Weizmann won him over, as well as many others, including government officials.

On Nov. 2, 1917 Lord Rothschild received a letter from British Foreign Secretary Arthur Balfour expressing formal support for a national home in Palestine for the Jewish people.

Since then, there has been nearly a century of conflict between Arabs and Jews in the Middle East.

I spoke with Jonathan Schneer, author of “The Balfour Declaration: The Origins of the Arab-Israeli Conflict,” on the following topics:

1. Letter to Lord Rothschild

2. British Promises to Arabs

3. British Promises to Jews

4. Anti-Zionist Jews

5. Sowing the Dragon’s Teeth

ITW, are you discussing something with me?

Can you identify what you mean please?

From your words you seem to think I am for empire, for proliferation of blind unity and disintegration of cultures and peoples… which is the opposite case.

“folks like you” you said… you know that is no way to have discourse, come on now.

Or you must be NOT reading my words, just bits and pieces, for I know I could be long winded all the time wink

You know what? I’d rather live my life without the ethnic connections. But folks like you love to pretend to be disinterested, and bring out “facts” that start taking us down a road my forebears saw many times. I could keep my mouth shut, but I know where that leads, so I don’t.  But I know people alive today with tatooed numbers on their arms.

Unfortunately, these days Muslims in America have it far worse than Jews, and I empathize with them. It’s “accepted” to openly and publicly pretend they are all evil and out to destroy us.  With Jews, you have to be more covert in your discussion of how we, supposedly, are equally “evil”.

Of course, divide and conquer is a fine old strategy so as long as you can prevent Jews and Muslims from finding common ground (such as the so-called “Ground Zero Mosque” before it became a hot potato) both can be used as scapegoats.

I like to keep an open mind realizing NOT everything I see and hear is true or even close to it.. or it can be and is being omitted from public discourse.

Some folks suggest to ask “who really won the war” between Germany and U.S. when one considers policy change since then in this country…

If German intelligence and covert operations persisted since then… makes sense why an idea like “Jews controlling everything” would still persist til this day… which in this instance, that statement is pointed to the “tv / movie industry” and coming from someone who wasn’t happy working there ( Rick ), whether he’s right or wrong or over sensitive due to being suggested a ‘lower’ position ( and we’ve all sensed some kind of prejudice or may have expounded such madness / be honest with yourself now )... so I like to keep abreast of most options, whether true or not, that people may be propelled to believe.

I cannot blame anyone or any group of people for where I am in life ( other than family and friends smile, that’s pretty silly.

But can point out that preferential treatment exists, as does favoritism and racism and prejudice in the workplace, thus the reason I couldn’t ‘work’ like a stiff FOR anyone… I had to work for myself, my family and stop hiring myself out to chattel managers who care NOTHING whether you sound like a retard on national media.. or if you happen to be hitting the ‘invisible qualities’ which I just described right on the head and feathers were ruffled.

ITW, if you had the top job where Rick worked, and you happen to be the one to suggest such and such to Rick, he’d may jump to the same conclusion… also from the way you unleash verbal assaults to dehumanize and insult people on here… Rick wouldn’t think you are his friend or you favor him much.. you see how easily the slipper slope can be for some?

I don’t think I identify with my ‘race’ or ‘blood origins’ so much as you may ITW, I do on some level but as I see now at age 34, race separation isn’t really that important in the scheme of things…. for we are all the same people, we just THINK we are different, don’t we?  Better, smarter, talented, gifted, given God’s grace… or not… however one may see themselves.

For here we live in Babylon, whether we were shipped here as slaves under bondage, or slaves as simply being the poorest from country of origin… or struggling to get here to enjoy some semblance of human existence in peace by working for a living, what may have been impossible for various reasons elsewhere ( political refugees for example ).... but we live in the modern Rome, the bringing in of many and making them the same, a citizen, obedient and paying tribute to the many Caesars and subject to Babylon’s currency ( look out our lives and how we hustle for that fake paper WE BELIEVE CAN BRING US AND BUY US SO MUCH ).  It is an idol, and many have been mesmerized… and more so, look the wars fought over control of people in order for the people to produce for their handlers… again, the economic slavery we are blinded from realizing… so we attack each other instead.

So here we see each other, through the eyes of country, color and creed, yet we’ve been put into a blender where we are all the color of money, for if the state eliminates one of us out of justice, it is called capital punishment.. which literally means to punish capital, or the system, or the idea and reality that our existence in counted in terms of dollars and HOW MUCH CAN THAT PARTICULAR CHATTEL EARN THE STATE, their handlers / owners…  those who’d rather you strife and fight one another instead of find out the high crimes committed by the thought to be high and mighty…. whether jew, greek, english, spanish, russian, german, christian, muslim, etc….

YOU, ITW, are on the SAME SIDE as US ( I know you like that coupling of ALL under US )... and why I say so?

Your tax bracket says so.

Hitler’s point of view, as I read from history, was he saw his country in dire straits due to things outside his understanding and control…. and he went about doing something about in the worse way.. by outright blaming a race / group of people like an idiot… finding a scapegoat.  And it worked, just like so many lies in history can instigate many to wickedness.

Read the posts on this thread.  They are suggesting the same approach.  Blame a scapegoat.  Even you suggest it, buying into the lie that Jews control everything, from the Media to Wall Street.

Wow, what a rant there ITW!

I like to hear people speak their mind, both you and Rick.

I hope Rick is dead wrong.  I hope that he was fired because he fell into the rabbit hole of imagination and not the rabbit hole of mass denial, which is what he thinks he did, and you think he did not, and of which I’m not sure of because I don’t know, and neither do you… but Rick worked in that field for some time… and others have eluded to the same in that same field.

It is a shame what happened and keeps happening to the Jewish people, both historically like in the bible, and still unfortunately up to this day… what a rich history and yet so devastating a history of a people…. my heart goes out to them.

Yet so too others know the pain TODAY of being unaccepted for whatever reason, much like how the black man in Amerika understands this when he considers his recent history, and the latino, and how about the extermination and genocide of natives to this country of theirs we still squat on, etc…. and only a remnant of those exist today… but the Jewish saga gets greater attention for some reason…

I have various sets of Jewish friends, both involved in practice and non religious alike… we get along great.  I love them and they love me…. with some I go sailing, another I go riding the Harleys with, I get invited to their homes for the weekend…. They know what I believe and how I’m trying to see the world ( believing historical reality written by scholars across the spectrum of subjectivity and objectivity ) and how I’m NOT ( believing wealthy owned, media-broadcast PROPAGANDA HISTORY authored by elite / royal / bankrolled families and their public policies ).

If in fact some Jewish families vowed to never let what happened in Germany happen NEVER AGAIN and banded their wealth and influence together and have achieved positions and social groups that would guarantee those atrocities would not happen again… makes sense, doesn’t it?

Folks who find themselves disenfranchised RIGHT NOW should decide to do the same.

Ignorance, racism, prejudice and all that, I think, is a part the human shortcoming when projected from one self and suffered when perceived from others.. and we ALL experience these things to one degree and form at some time if not times in our lives.. it is a part of being human… just as is the capacity to love and understand why things are and why people do things as they do.

What is interesting, is that is happening today and even more so on these threads.  How easily folks are pigeon-holed because of their branding of religion, sex, race, color, ethnicity, etc….

If we all wore our pedigree on our foreheads, maybe we’d already know which jokes to have ready when our eyes come into near view.

“Knallt ab den Walther Rathenau
Die gottverdammte Judensau”
“Strike down Walther Rathenau
The God-damned Jewish sow!”

Dr. Walther Rathenau was the chairman of AEG, the German General Electric.  In 1922, he was the portfolio of the Foreign Ministry. He negotiated the Treaty of Rapallo with the Lenin government that was seen as some sort of capitulation to Bolsheviks when, in fact, there were all sorts of juicy provisions for Germany including re-arming.

Rathenau was a major proponent of German Jews integrating into German society and being Germans first.  On most issues, he was very conservative and virulently anti-Communist.

But on June 24, 1922, Rathenau’s car was accosted and he was machine-gunned and then a bomb was thrown into the car. The killers were part of a right-wing conspiracy. The only surviving perp received a sentence of 15 years.

The reaction of the Right in Germany to the assassination of the Foreign Minister pretty much came down to…Good! One less pushy Jew.  Rathenau was the first Jew in a national public office killed because he was a Jew in a national public office.

Germany was punished as the inflation that became hyperinflation took off following Rathenau’s murder.  And it was blamed on the Jews.  Every calamity that followed was blamed on the Jews.

Every one of you blaming all your problems on Jews are no different than the bastards who killed Rathenau.

All except one.  The one who lived was so filled with remorse (he claimed he had been coerced) that he helped many Jews escape the Holocaust.

As far as Jon goes:
It just hit me, I know what kind of television comedy / reality show that could become #1, let’s have Jon Stewert interview Barry Barak Hussen Soetoro Obama, Karzai, Karza’s brother, and the Taliban while their picking the poppys in the fields for the heroin that they ship to America. What do ya think people? Since Jon and Comedy Central have proven that nothing is sacred for satire and that they will even give in to the threat by a group of radical muslims (like the press likes to call them) or just “the un-named” (like Barry “the Anointed One” likes to call them) or toilet paper (like Americans over the ages of twelve like to call them), it could be a hit. Hollyweird would go wild.
Or: I have a wonderful idea, I suggest since the Muslim leaders hope for the interfaith dialogue to help end growing anti-Muslim rhetoric, that they invite the Seattle cartoonist behind “Everybody Draw Muhammad Day!”
Even though a Christian expert on Islam is not surprised that the Seattle cartoonist behind “Everybody Draw Muhammad Day!” was threatened by extremists and forced into hiding and Dr. William Wagner, author of “How Islam Plans to Change the World,” says intimidation is one of radical Islam’s most effective tools, I bet everything would be peachy.
And even though “They (radical Muslims) are constantly looking for persons who seem to go against Islam and then threaten them,” says Wagner, who currently serves as president of Olivet University in San Francisco, the liberals tell us that everything is hunky dory. I am so looking forward to this break- through, aren’t you?

As far as Ricky goes:
Rick Sanchez does it again. This guy is great. I stopped watching CNN when Lou Dobbs left but I was channel surfing and ran across another comedy routine with Rick Sanchez. Anyway, Rick interrupts a discussion of the potential size of a tidal wave in Hawaii by asking, “By the way, nine meters in English is?” Either he doesn’t know how long a meter is or he doesn’t know how long a meter is. Most everyone knows a meter is about the same unit of length as a yard. A meter is just the basic unit of length in the International System of Units. There are 39.37 inches in a meter.
So Rick, a meter is a little longer than a yard? I guess the lesson learned here is : Don’t be using non a that fancy international talk around her on CNN. By the way, comparing yourself to Woodward and Bernstein?? That was great, I could not stop laughing. I love watching you interview anyone and one minute later you have to completely abandon your talking point. Keep up the great comedy, Rick,  Hey CNN, I think a drug test is in order.
CNN gets rid of Lou Dobbs over stance on illegals but Rick Sanchez is allowed to call out Sherriff Joe, push pro amnesty agenda, apparently wants to speak spanish on his show, and CNN can’t figure out why their ratings are lower than the spirits in a room full of Democrats?

I knew that someday Rick Sanchez was going to put his foot in his mouth on CNN, but it happened on radio. I am a minority ( not Jews) who experienced racism in the past, and Sanchez cannot be more wrong about Jon Stewart. Jan Stewart is a good human being and a brilliant comedian that makes fun of everybody regardless who they are. Good bye and good luck Rick. Next time, think before you open your mouth to criticize a decent person that is loved by so many. Let this be a teaching lesson for you.

Rick, Jon Stewart does not care for your world view and criticizes you for it.  He cares very strongly his view of what he believes to be just.  He is just as harsh on all the other prominent news personalites to the politically to the Right of himself. But you interpret that as bigotry or being “prejudical”, and simply can not see that you are overreacting hyper-defensively to his criticism of your different politics and taking it way to personal.  The interviewer is absolutely correct about you having a “chip on your shoulder”.  That said I do not think you should have been fired over this interview.

Whether or not Jews control the media is problematic, but one thing is certain: if you are critical of American Israeli policy, or criticize the fact that the United States continues to pour money into Israel to assure its arsenal is up-to-date… you will indeed be banished to the outer media darkness, where only Democracy Now! and Free Speech TV will provide a platform to express what the establishment news calls “your crazy views”.

What kind of simpleton universe must you inhabit, in order to ignore the obvious? American politicians grovel before the Israeli-Zionist lobby. Barack Obama and Joe Biden are the latest examples of leaders who acquiesce to their demands, never mind whether or not it threatens the actual security of the United States.
As Vice President Joe Biden said in Israel, on March 11,2010: “the instant I return, I feel like I’m at home. I feel like I never left.”

I can’t believe these comments. What does being Jewish have to do with one’s outlook? It depends. There are conservative and liberal Jews. Anyone who wants to “essentialize” any cultural group with innate characteristics is like saying that all women are automatically feminists, or that all gays are innately sinners. What the owners of multinational media have in common is that they are business people invested in the marketplace and will decide things according to what is best for there bottomline, be they Christian, Jew or Mormon. Spinning on about Jewish conspiracies is such wasted energy. The lock on media coverage by the pro-Israeli lobby has more to do with the fact that Israel is the US’s partner for Middle East hegemony and a subtle racism that biases white, European worldviews over others. Try not to confuse the issues.

All right, let’s be rational for a moment here.

If Sanchez, or anyone else, actually has evidence that another person has been granted favoritism based on their ethnicity or religious affiliation, and that they have been promoted over more qualified people because they were, say, Jewish, then they have a right to say something about it.  By evidence, I mean something that you could actually take to court and bring a Title VII lawsuit over.  Does Sanchez have anything like that?  Or does he just have his impressions, and a hot head?

I have no sympathy for someone who claims he was discriminated against, and then goes on to attack another ethnic group rather than fighting against all discrimination in a principled way.  Doing that is not only small minded and reactionary, it’s also stupid as a tactic.  So Sanchez should get to keep a very high paying job . . . why, exactly?

Since he says he was treated in a demeaning way because he is Latino, he should have been sensitive enough not to do the same thing to anyone else, based on some other ethnic stereotypes.

As far as the issue of pro-Zionist Jewish people in the mass media is concerned, you could find plenty of principled critiques of that by other Jewish people, critiques that don’t resort to ugly “baiting.”  I don’t see where Sanchez has done one damned thing to advance the dialog on ugly stereotyping.  He did some himself.  Bravo, buddy!

I wish the U.S. had the kind of peace and justice movement that Israel has, which you hear practically nothing about from the essentially right-wing media we have here.  (BTW, I’m not Jewish, nor do I have Jewish relatives.)  I consider the so-called liberal establishment media in America a bunch of poseurs, and I WISH we had more real intellectuals like Noam Chomsky and real journalists like Naomi Klein.  Nobody ever gave them anything, they certainly are not liked or supported by the “Zionist media,” and they both have risked their careers and even their lives to speak the truth.

What does this Sanchez person think he’s entitled to, and why?

The case of Rick Sanchez is a carbon-copy repeat of the earlier case of Helen Thomas. They were both setup to speak their minds and those who did the set-up were either Zionists or paid by Zionists on a mission to kill.

If you listen to the interview, you will notice that Pete Dominick was very combative, always defending Jon Stewart’s offensive bigotry or stupidity in the name of comedy.

I personally consider standing comedy as the lowest and meanest form of entertainment, therefore I never wasted my precious time listening to a whole episode of such garbage.

Besides the arrogance, subtle bigotry and identifying himself with the white establishment, Stewart, most likely, was jealous of Sanchez for being more handsome and more articulate than him. Considering Sanchez’s background, his English is more pure and articulate than the stupid mumblings of Stewart, besides the advantage of his knowledge of Spanish which he always used to do instantaneous translations of breaking news from Spanish-speaking media.

Que viva Sanchez, and down with Stewart, CNN and their cohorts the Zionist controllers of this sad USA!

Don’t know where you got that list from, but it is a hodge-podge. First Ted Turner has nothing to do with news, he was ousted years ago by Warner Brothers. The head of CNN News until a few days ago was Jonathan Stein.
All News divisions at Networks come under the main Entertainment division, because they are part of the programming roster.
So CBS (Viacom), ABC (Disney),CNN Warner Bros and Fox
are part of media conglomerates. Only NBC which is owned by GE is not and the head until a few days ago was Jeff Zucker

If you think Jews (or at least Zionists) do not control the media, try to find an example of criticism of Israel on the MSM, or suggestion than Iran has a right to nuclear energy.

“Morristhewise” may notice that Zionists have the ability to stop those who do not follow their line from having tenure at universities- Check Harvard and Yale. It is not hatred of Zionists- it is about fairness and balance. Look at the nonsense against normal US Muslims, and the “terrorist” label applied to anyone speaking out.

Rupert Murdoch: No
Michael Bloomberg: Yes
Ted Turner: No
Steve Forbes: No

Leslie Moonves: Yes
Dick Ebersol: ??

Jews do run the media, here is an article by Joel Stein of Time Magazine who proudly glories it in the LA Times
http://articles.latimes.com/2008/dec/19/opinion/oe-stein19

He didn’t get the ADL treatment like Oliver Stone nor the pink slip like Sanchez.  The most important Freedom we have is the freedom of speech and it is being eroded by a Jewish controlled media using intimidation and slander.

I guess those on the aid flotilla who were EXECUTED are not getting paid well.

The truth is if the Jews controlled the press in Germany in the 20’s and 30’s,
Adolph Hitler would probably never of come to power, They learned that lesson
well.

I prefer a liberal press than a conservative one.

Zionist hating is a lucrative profession for opportunists that can get media
attention, those seized during the flotillas are getting paid well to speak at
colleges. If the fuhrer escaped punishment he would have become wealthy writing
Mein Kamph #2 and as a Zionist hating fund raiser.

Here is what he actually said:

“Sanchez said that one CNN exec told him, ‘I really don’t see you as an anchor; I see you more as a reporter. I see you more as a John Quinones – you know, the guy on ABC’…Now, did he not realize that he was telling me…An anchor is what you give the high-profile white guys, you know…To a certain extent Jon Stewart and [Stephen] Colbert are the same way. I think Jon Stewart’s a bigot.”

Now, I leave it to you to decide: did CNN fire him because he called Stewart a “bigot,” or because he implied that CNN was being discriminatory to him?

What is truly scary here is that TD is already behind the curve here: the MSM is now regurgitating the RE-WRITTEN AP wire report from CNN, which omits the reference to newsroom racism.

Peace.
