Former Vice President Dick Cheney, shown here in a grimacing stock photo, spoke at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Friday.

With cheers urging Dick Cheney to run for president, the Republican spokesman talked at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference, pontificating about the party’s chances in 2010 and even 2012, claiming that “President Obama is going to be a one-term president.” —JCL

The L.A. Times:

Former Vice President Dick Cheney made a surprise appearance this afternoon at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference gathering in Washington after a speech by his daughter, Liz Cheney. And a surprise proclamation.

He was greeted by cheers and chants of “Run, Cheney, Run!”

To which Cheney responded: “A welcome like that almost makes me want to run for office—but I am not going to do it.”

Both parties are corrupted beyond repair, but these lunatics who are clamoring for the Rethugs and their “fiscal responsibility”  really crack me up. This is a group who under Bush-Cheney gave enormous tax cuts to multi-millionaires and corporations , and at the same time institgated two unnecessary wars. Wars that will cost taxpayers trillions, wars in which tens of billions of dollars are still unaccounted for, where private security firms robbed us for hundreds of billions more, and wars that in the end will only create more terrorism. The lunatics are running the asylum.

It’s confirmed Cheney is the Anti Christ.

Stunning to see so many blind zealots cheer a man who-
Lied US into a War
Crashed the Economy
Exploded the Deficit
Gave tax cuts to the Upper echelon and corps, and handed the rest of US the tab.
Mainlined Oil into America’s economic veins
Undermined The Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
Reinstated the use of Torture by a ‘Civilized’ country
And straddled the Branches of Gov’t like the colossus of Rhodes-undermining the very basic principle of Balance of Power.
All while Usurping the actual Office of the President.

CPAC was asking “May I have Another”?

Dick has confesed to being a Sadistic bastard- Damn proud of it, in fact.
So what does that make his blind zealots- Masochists? Minions?

“War Criminal” and “Traitor” has been determined as Fact. Only question now is Meglomaniac or Agent.

Run away Dickcheyney . . . run away because it’s high time he was tried for treason and for all his bravado he is really a first class coward.

In the March edition of HARPERS’S there will be an article with proof that the triple suicides supposedly commited at Guantanamo on the same day and using the same method were actually a triple homicide. The Bush-Cheyney Administration is culpable.

Making himself availible to reporters might shed some light on why he “stood down” the air force on 9/11.

We just need journalists with temerity to ask those questions.

I want Cheney for prez and Palin for VP, or may be the other way
around…Palin/Cheney would be fine.  Why? ...you may ask.  Because this
will hasten the fall of The Empire so we can start the process of rebuilding
sooner.  What’s wrong with that plan?

There is still a growing division between the two parties and those who call ourselves Progressive, as we watch those we consider criminals to be allowed to still dictate actions and infuse more hatred and war crimes on behalf of all of us.  Watergate exposed many raw nerves for many in this country who wanted accountability but under Obama’s idea of justice, we are still told we must accept Bush/Cheney et al as if they had a shred of credibility to those of us who believe in the rule of law and the Constitution.

Obama should shut down Bush/Cheney and their detritus and shut down Fox and their mouths.  Drag them off to Gitmo with anyone who doesn’t like it, and tell the world national security is not something a President need explain.  And when he’s finished with them, he should re-arrange the chairs on the Supreme Court, try Scalia and move forward.

Ah, yes. Mr. ‘I can’t be held responsible’ and winner
of the Nobel Prize of Evil. Sure. We need more of
Cheney like kids need more lead in their toys.

Isn’t it about time we open up politics to
globalization the way politicians ‘globalized’ our
jobs? I’m looking hard at Norway and Sweden’s way of
managing a country. Hell, let’s vote in a smorgasbord
of global ways and be rid of our homegrown sell outs.
