Romney and Huntsman Split New Hampshire’s Tiniest PrimaryPosted on Jan 10, 2012
You may recall Dixville Notch, N.H., from past elections or perhaps that “West Wing” episode that highlighted the mini-village’s unusually prescient midnight voting. This year nine people who used to live there, but don’t really, showed up to pick candidates. Mitt Romney and Jon Hunstman each got two votes. Obama got three. The Washington Post describes the farce:
And so these nine people faked it for a crowd of 200 journalists. Welcome to the 2012 election. —PZS Advertisement Previous item: Obama's New Chief of Staff Hails From Wall Street Next item: Assad Waves an 'Iron Hand' at Opposition New and Improved CommentsWe are launching a major overhaul of our comments section. I doon’t think I’m getting it.
What is fraudulent here:
-that these 9 people didn’t live in NH
-that Obama shouldn’t get votes in Rep.primary
-that 3+2+2=7 So where are 2 votes?
I know what the point is though. Not to let the incorruptible Ron win!

What a farce our electoral process and government functioning has become. Money rules it, TV commercials sell it, Fox News and right wing radio lie about it, those in charge use the hoi polloi for focus groups, their concerns are fed back to them in speeches, but they are soon forgotten once the politicians are in office. Now we have fake towns holding bogus elections covered by sham mainstream media owned by multinational corporations dedicated to spreading their version of the untruth.

The entire election process is a fraud. The citizens only choose between to Wall St, Global/Energy Corporate, no-bid Military Contractor bribing candidates. So no choice really. Might as well save gas, money, and time. Just let the two mud wrestle in thongs.
