Rick Santorum Wants to Hold Your HandPosted on Aug 28, 2012
Rick Santorum ran a little wild Tuesday night in Tampa, saying he held the hand of dirty farmers and the American dream, and referring to President Obama in dictatorial terms. “President Obama rules like he is above the law,” said Santorum. “Americans, take heed. When a president can simply give a speech or write a memo and change the law to do what the law says he cannot do, we will no longer be a republic.” Santorum described himself as a first-generation American, and his eyes seemed to sparkle recalling the dark ages of immigration: “In 1923 there were no government benefits for immigrants except one: Freedom.” The former Mitt Romney rival made it clear that America is simultaneously the most amazing, bestest thing ever, despite being crippled by threeish years of Obama despotism: “America is still the greatest country in the world, and with God’s help and good leadership, we can restore the American dream.” —Posted by Peter Z.
