Report: Rahm Emanuel Expected to Leave the White House

So long, Rahm?: Emanuel, here with President Obama in the Oval Office, might be hanging it up this fall.

Here’s some palace intrigue from the White House—well, from across the pond, technically, via the U.K.’s Daily Telegraph: Chief of staff Rahm “Rahmbo” Emanuel might be preparing to leave his post after this fall’s midterm elections.  —KA

The Daily Telegraph:

Washington insiders say he will quit within six to eight months in frustration at [the president’s inner circle’s] unwillingness to “bang heads together” to get policy pushed through.

Mr Emanuel, 50, enjoys a good working relationship with Mr Obama but they are understood to have reached an understanding that differences over style mean he will serve only half the full four-year term.

Friends say he is also worried about burnout and losing touch with his young family due to the pressure of one of most high profile jobs in US politics.

“I would bet he will go after the midterms,” said a leading Democratic consultant in Washington.

Rahm Emanuel is “Israel’s Mossad Spy” in the White House. He is Israel & AIPAC’s watchdog. The most likely scenario is that Mossad/Israel know everything that goes on in Obama’s administration. They may even hear what goes on in Obama’s bedroom.

If he leaves the White House, he will not leave empty handed. He’ll leave all sorts of Mossad devices in the right places.

Some of Rahm’s close friends are Martin Indyk, Dennis Ross, as is CNN’s Wolf Blitzer, also a former lobby official.

I just wish that the public would put enough demands
on the DLC,  to make candidates name in writing
who they were going to ask to be in their cabinet
at the time of the National Conventions.

Let the creep leave. President Obama, most likely,
will be better off, regardless who may replace him. And whoever replaces him cannot be worse.

hello again. i just see from the photo Oboymamma
looking at him alike his necessary gopher. the ‘bad
dad’ moniker, released after father’s day, was suspect
to welcome toying from the Brits; and deservedly so. if
it broke in the “National Enquirer”, i would have
turned right past the lawn mower crop circles, and
alien abductions, to absorb every detail of the Blago
connection -and festering declaration of taking
everyone down with him. the Telegraph can do much
better than that. or can they not compete with the
“Enquirer” ? i want to know…

Ed:

Sort of. He was a dancer early in life. Not that there’s anything wrong with any of that.

Wow, that wins the prize for the weirdest comment.
Does Rico just think the guy “looks gay”, or what?

The telling excuse that he’ll leave “to spend more time with his family” is the standard line for politicians when “asked to leave”. Maybe Rahm wants to moonlight as Ambassador to Israel and take a real job there, like a Israeli lobbyist and he can lobby himself, being the Ambassador and all.

If only. Unfortunately, Obama would just find another Clinton-era Republican lite neo-Liberal to replace him.

“I think Netanyahu made him an offer he can’t refuse. After all there is plenty of work available for the son of an Irgun terrorist.”
=============================
Excellent insight DocReality! Yours was one of the first thoughts that crossed my mind after reading this piece of news!

“Maybe Rahm doesn’t want to be standing
anywhere near the target when the Mossad
makes its move to replace Obama with Biden.”
=============================================
Another great insight, by Ed Harges, into this piece of news. This is a scenario I contemplated that might happen for some time since the election of Barack Obama. Though the majority of American political office seekers rush to express their allegiance to Israel as a precondition for having any serious chance at being elected, Biden was the only one who went so far to declare before an AIPAC meeting that “we are all Zionists.”

Will this prophesy materialize?! Let’s wait and see while praying that it might not materialize!

A temporary lapse,
Rahm has a better job, more money offer.
This is a good way to get them begging “Oh Please don`t go”, Make yourself more valuable.
OR Maybe He had a Revelation
at his Son`s Bar mitsva,
sobbing on the wailing wall,
maybe Rahm misses Israel,
take your pick!

hello. i will believe it when i read it in the National Enquirer. Blago asked Rhamanuel to use his Hollyweird contacts, and they discovered the best entertainers in Hollyweird had already fled the country. there is no good talent to draw upon: to encourage the popcorn populace that their policies are right for the country. his power base has been burst, and even Chicago will trash him like yesterday’s news. you know how they are when they talk, and self fulfilling rumors get started. maybe he is being visited by aliens.

Good riddance.  If only we had any reason to expect that Rahm’s departure might have a positive effect on Brand Obama’s leadership.

The recent piece by David Michael Green, “President Obama Doesn’t Strike Again” pretty much sums it up.  Just one more Administration serving the interests of the ruling class.

Israel knows what Rahm is going to say before Obama does.

I hope that Obama is going to tow a harder line against Israel and our own congress and Rahm is having the classic Issie fit.

Anonymous speculation from outside the administration in a conservative UK paper. Yeah, that sounds legit.
