Questions About Gadhafi’s Death Delay His Burial

Just as in the case of Osama bin Laden’s death last May, some major concerns have cropped up in the international community about the circumstances that led to Libyan leader Col. Moammar Gadhafi’s end on Thursday. Specifically, whether the killing of Gadhafi might have been carried out in an “extrajudicial” manner is unclear, which means his body will be kept in official custody for a period of investigation. And as with bin Laden, Gadhafi’s final resting place may be at sea, the BBC reported Friday.  —KA

BBC:

Meanwhile, questions are mounting as to exactly what happened in Col Gaddafi’s last moments following his capture.

Officials have denied he was executed.

Acting Prime Minister Mahmoud Jibril said Col Gaddafi had been shot in the head in an exchange of fire between Gaddafi loyalists and NTC fighters following his capture in his hometown of Sirte.

Video footage suggests he was dragged through the streets.

An NTC fighter told the BBC he found the former Libyan leader hiding in a drainage pipe and he had begged him not to shoot.

The fighter showed reporters a golden pistol he said he had taken from Col Gaddafi.

you’re making a mistake….....he was installed as Shah in 1941…as anyone and
everyone can confirm.

the coup was to prevent Mosaddegh from seizing powers for which Mosaddegh
had no legal claim.

the coup de facto supported the Shah because it ended the usurpation of his
power .....it did not install him.

read more widely.

(and no, nothing in my remarks should be read as an endorsement of the Shah,
the constitution of Iran that Mosaddegh was attempting to shred, or an
endorsement of the rather odious coup)

you also don’t know iranian history. The Shah of Iran assumed the throne in

yet another straw man

both the Shaw and Komenie were promoted (installed) by the CIA & MI6, as is
the NTC - Gaddafi we now know colluded with CIA & MI6 - should be a lesson
to political figures around the world: these people are too dangerous to deal
with in an reasonable sense - moreover, what’s revealed in media limited
hangouts is largely illusory, psy-op, propaganda, etc. spinning Libya’s counter-
espionage crimes as more severe than Anglo-American black-ops

the reality on the ground where average people persevere day-in-day-out is
this: NATO perished more civilians in 8 months than Gaddafi did in 42 years
and destroyed the equivalence in infrastructure, private property and productive
capacity built by and for the Libyan people over that time - built to the point
that it was the most prosperous nation in Africa

BUT, perhaps most important of all: Libya carried no (zero) debt service to the
IMF/World Bank and Libya massively funded the African Development Bank for
0% loans to Africa - literally in the face of the IMF - essential reason for the
invasion - conduited through a postmodern, massively propagandized
astroturf ‘revolution’

Libya’s future as a developed nation is now seriously at risk - indeed, all the
African Union is at risk, especially as it emerges what Obomber has in mind for
them, e.g.

Obama sends combat troops to Africa
A contingent of “combat-equipped” American troops landed in Uganda last
week intervening in that country’s longstanding proxy war with Somalia-based
Lord’s Resistance Army [LRA]. Uganda says it didn’t seek US intervention, but
would welcome it anyway, now that it happened.

President Barack Obama wrote a fascinating letter to the US Congress justifying
the military intervention in Central Africa. The letter repeated twice that the
intervention “furthers US national security interests and foreign policy.” He
didn’t elaborate. Curiously, US troops will be backing a dictatorial regime in
Uganda. No tall claims of the US promoting an “Africa Spring”, et al. It is an old-
fashioned US military intervention.

again, too typical of TD commentary, a straw man hoisted…

reporting Saif al-Islam’s statement to the people of libya has nothing to do with
my ‘...thinking…’

the statement was reported simply to demonstrate that this war is not over - Saif’s
assertion of broad tribal support is worth noting - it informs the discussion

it informs the discussion far more than do adolescent insults, which should never
be acknowledged beyond citing their uselessness

today Jamahiriya (Libyan people’s governance) sources report:

The son and heir apparent of the late Colonel Gaddafi, Saif al-Islam, is still
in Libya. He is free and will go on with resistance, he reportedly claimed in an
address to supporters aired by Syria’s Arrai TV Channel, loyal to the Libyan ex-
leader.

“We continue our resistance. I am in Libya, I am alive, free and intend to go to
the very end and exact revenge,” ‘Russia’s RIA Novosti’ news agency quotes Saif
al-Islam as saying on the Syrian Channel on Saturday night.

Earlier contradictory reports suggested Saif al-Islam Gaddafi has been either
killed or captured in the western Libyan town of Zliten and was in the hands of
the country’s National Transitional Council.

Egypt’s Nile TV Channel reported on Thursday, October 20, that he had
managed to flee Sirte and find shelter in the desert.

According to RIA Novosti, Saif al-Islam Gaddafi has already got the support of
the tribes loyal to his father, who promised to fight against the current
government and take revenge for the killing of the colonel and his son
Mutassim. Some experts now suggest the Libyan conflict could now be
prolonged and grow from a political into an interethnic struggle.

Thirty-nine-year-old Saif al-Islam is the second son of Muammar Gaddafi and
carried out public relations and diplomatic roles for his father. Western-
educated and the most-recognized Libyan official, he was often viewed as
Colonel’s successor and a possible reformer.

The Libyans not Obama killed Gadhafi.
Al Jazeera and the BBC had extensive coverage of the Libyan revolution in the past two months.  Instead of finding a way out of the country in the past month Gadhafi used his foreign mercenaries as snipers to kill his own countrymen.  Think about that.  Too what end?  He was finished anyway.  Just once put yourselves in the place of the Libyans.  It is a miracle he only ended up getting shot.

“The court had wanted to have a forensic expert inspect the body before the

Apparently the ICC trusts the NTC, significantly comprised of jihadists, who
helped lead the “Arab Spring” in Libya and who were probably motivated by
retaliation against Gaddafi for cooperating with the Bush administration in its
antiterrorism efforts in Libya 8-10 years ago.

The ICC has no need to for the body which will have its “Islamic” burial at sea
according to earlier reports. That’s after it removed from the freezer where it’s
been put on public display by the transitional groups responsible for Libya’s
transition to a more humanitarian society.

In contrast to Bush’s unilateralism, Obama has achieved a remarkable
international cooperation in his ever-expanding war fronts. It’s perplexing.

Jibril said DNA samples and blood was taken from the body. Also taken
were samples of Gaddafi’s hair, but that turned out to be “fake”, seemingly
confirming widespread rumours that Libya’s feared ruler of 42 years had had
hair implants.

Libya’s National Transitional Council had been in touch with the International
Criminal Court which had wanted to try Gaddafi for crimes against humanity,
Jibril said.

The court had wanted to have a forensic expert inspect the body before the
burial, he said, but after seeing the NTC’s own report the court agreed that

HOW MANY OF GADDAFI’S DOUBLES DID THEY ACTUALY KILL?

ANALYSING ‘GADDAFI’S KILLED’ VIDEOS:

1. On the videos which were allegedly recorded in Sirte, sun is shining, dust everywhere..  however ,in reality, just a day before -Sirte was FLOODED.

2. In two different parts of the same video..we can see that the ‘Colonel’ has two different hair colors.. in one part he has light-brown hair, in the other he has black hair.

3. In one of the videos ‘dead Colonel’ has bumpy nose, looks broken in a strange way, in other videos where this man is dead, his nose is straight

4. In the early videos (from Sirte) his face looks very young, and we all know how wrinkled he was.

5. They said that he was shot in the legs, and that he bled to death.. but this captured ‘Colonel’  is standing while they are pushing him around. In addition, lower part of the body is not covered with blood.

6. Naked uper part of body of the ‘Colonel’ is young, with no signs of aging in the videos, but real Colonel is a 70 years old man. Do you know how the body of a 70 years old man looks like,  especialy of a man who have spent all his life in a desert.

7. Some of the released videos were recorded a day before, on 19th of october (!!)

8. According to one of their propaganda stories, they found ‘him’ in a sewer. And yet ‘he’  appears freshly shaven, his beard trimmed on the videos etc..

9. There is another strange detail in the video in Sirte also, one black woman- a civilian-  stands and watches the show , seeming very relaxed. A black civilian woman in Sirte on the side of the rats (!?). This is impossible. Everyone knows what NATO Al Qaeda rats are doing to black men, women and children in Libya. They hang, lynch and behead them. Especialy Sirte black women, IF there are ANY left in Sirte (which I highly doubt) would never be on the side of the racist rats. This is realy strange.

10. On one video Gaddafi is covered with blood when they are placing him on a pick-up, on another with the same ‘action’ his face is clean like he is headed to a wedding.

11. Fact: Massive demonstrations against NATO and NTC were being prepared, unified counter- attack, uprising has already started on 14th of october.

12. Just days after Hilary came and said she wants Gaddafi dead, ‘he’ got killed.

13. Not just him, his sons and every high-official person they could remember of ‘got killed on the same day IN SIRTE’, although it is known that Gaddafi and his sons were leading different brigades at different fronts around Libya. (note: Libya is the size of 1/3 of Europe, and Sirte is just one small town which was for months under siege)

14. Gaddafi’s daughter Aisha says he is alive.

15. Gaddafi has 12 doubles.

QUESTION: HOW MANY OF GADDAFI’S DOUBLES DID THEY ACTUALY KILL?

_______________________________________

regardless the outcome, this civil war will not end any time soon:

NATO/NTC control not even 20% of the geography and have even less popular support - they are desperate and need to demoralize not only the partisans but neighboring Africans streaming in to join the partisans in their fight against NATO’s neocolonial invasion - they know they’re to be targeted too

important to get Libya first - it is the leader of the African Union and its Development Bank is targeted either for failure or takeover by the IMF/World Bank

as for diversions, I’d consider OWS more likely a diversion away from what NATO has been and is (very likely for some time to come) doing to Libya - the seige and arial bombardment of Sirte (a city of 100,000) is destined for a place in history to rival Guernica

NATO’s Ministers and affiliate heads of state are those for whom the International Criminal Court should rightly have issued warrants

Sarkozy’s claims of Gaddafi’s death ending NATO involvement aren’t credible, like
the one of the NTC fighter independently executing him.  Apparently, they’re going
to cut out from a more deeply divided country than ever after leaving it in it
shambles.  All this for one man?  I think not.

The burial at sea redux has nothing to do with Muslim traditions, anymore than
building shrines at the grave.

The confluence of the media, whether international like BBC or the US outlets, with
the makeshift official versions is alarming.  I feel apprehension to even
communicate the obvious on a blog.
