Paul Ryan: Obama Victory a Threat to Religious FreedomPosted on Nov 5, 2012
In a last-ditch effort to energize evangelical voters, Republican vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan warned members of the socially conservative Faith and Freedom Coalition over the weekend that “Judeo-Christian” values are at risk if President Obama is re-elected. Ryan told the group in a conference call that the president’s policies on issues such as religious freedom and health care are “dangerous.” He added, “It’s a path that grows government, restricts freedom and liberty and compromises those values, those Judeo-Christian, Western civilization values that made us such a great and exceptional nation in the first place.”
