New York Gov. David Paterson, accompanied by his wife, Michelle, raises his hand to swear an oath during a news conference in New York on Friday.

New York Gov. David Paterson, who took the state’s top post after Eliot Spitzer stepped down amid a prostitution scandal in March 2008, announced Friday that he won’t continue his campaign for election this November—a development that comes as Paterson is caught up in a scandal of his own. Now, who’s up for the job? —KA

The New York Times:

Mr. Paterson, his administration caught up in a whirlwind of allegations about its intervention in a domestic violence episode involving a top aide, ended his campaign less than a week after it officially began. But he defiantly denied any wrongdoing in the burgeoning scandal over his involvement in the abuse case.

“I have never abused my office — not now, not ever,” he told a gathering of roughly 60 reporters, photographers and camera people in a crowded briefing room in the governor’s office on Third Avenue in Manhattan.

In the end, he told the group, following a lengthy recounting of what he saw as his greatest success in decades of public service, “I am being realistic about politics. It hasn’t been the latest distraction, it’s been an acucmulation of obstacles.”

He added: “There are times not to strive for service but to step back. That moment has come for me.”

Who knows the truth, because the media is too corrupted by the Right to be able to be believed.  And the Courts have been corrupted by the Right.

Such fake outrage from the permanent government.
Guess the Aqueduct deal with Floyd Flake, Malcom Smith
set whites on edge.  Cannot remember similar outrage
when Alphonse and Armand D’Mato(?) and the Roosevelt
Raceway deals. Remember Alan Hevesi and his “sick”
wife? Guess some blacks, latinos and Asians have moved
up the corruption pipeline in Albany.  Aside to Gov.
Paterson, before you leave, release the Tawanna
Brawley files, rape kit and other materials protecting
Abrams, Cuomo, Giuliani, et al.; give little Andy
something to talk about during the campaign.

It was to Australia’s benefit that Rupert Murdoch is no longer allowed to be a citizen of Australia, since in his process of his world domination, it was necessary to become a citizen of the United States.

Rupert Murdoch’s networks politically undermine liberals 24/7, while building up the conservatives as faux liberals using his media network web to undermine race,  liberals, progressives, socialists, and the populace on his FOX News Network, on his radio stations and in his newspapers all the time.

I pray that God will somehow save the United States from Rupert Murdoch’s Hitleresque tactics that are destroying our nation, and protect the President of the United States from these evil tactics in the name of Jesus, my God.

The root of this problem is NOT the Jews, although it may seem so, because Murdoch uses the Jews.  The evil root started with sophism and propaganda, which, like one man Hitler,  started with one man Rupert Murdoch’s sophism and propaganda.

Rupert Murdoch should never have been allowed to become a citizen of the United States.

Murdoch’s sophism and propaganda “FIRE in a crowded theater” tactics should be dispensed with altogether by our government.

Rupert Murdoch is old and when he dies, his evil setup for his control of the world will be taken over by other evil conservative EXTREMISTS for even more oppression and tyranny of the populace of the United States and the world.

This appears to be a case of harassment through mass media by moguls Rupert Murdoch, Mortimer Zuckerman and Arthur Sulzberger, Jr. that have someone else in mind as governor, so they harassed Patterson until he gave up.  Too bad, he should have stuck it out and zeroed in on them.

“Conservative EXTREMIST Rupert Murdoch</a> was involved in the takeover of a liberal political party in Australia and it is apparent that he is trying to do the same thing in the United States.

The tactics that Rupert Murdoch is using in the United States and has used in Austrailia were used by Adolph Hitler to take over a liberal political party and change it to a conservative political party.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rupert_Murdoch

“Murdoch’s disconcerting experience with Thomas Playford in South Australia and his early political activities in Australia set the pattern he would repeat around the world.[16]

Murdoch found a political ally in John McEwen, leader of the Australian Country Party, who was governing in coalition with the larger Menzies-Holt Liberal Party. From the very first issue of The Australian Murdoch began taking McEwen’s side in every issue that divided the long-serving coalition partners. (The Australian, 15 July 1964, first edition, front page: “Strain in Cabinet, Liberal-CP row flares.”) It was an issue that threatened to split the coalition government and open the way for the stronger Australian Labor Party to dominate Australian politics. It was the beginning of a long campaign that served McEwen well.[17]

McEwen repaid Murdoch’s support later by helping him to buy his valuable rural property Cavan, and then arranged a clever subterfuge by which Murdoch was able to transfer a large sum of money from Australia to England in order to finalize the purchase of The News of the World without obtaining the required authority from the Australian Treasury.

After McEwen and Menzies retired, Murdoch transferred his support to the newly elected Leader of the Australian Labor Party, Gough Whitlam, who was elected in 1972 on a social platform that included universal free health care, free education for all Australians to tertiary level, recognition of the People’s Republic of China, and public ownership of Australia’s oil, gas and mineral resources.

Rupert Murdoch’s flirtation with Whitlam turned out to be brief. He had already started his short-lived National Star[17] newspaper in America, and was seeking to strengthen his political contacts there.[18]”

First comment had some of what I was going to say:
as a former spouse said, “If they want to get you, they’ll get you.”. He meant the press.

Ahh, they got him.  The earlier sociopathic gang stalking falsehoods softened him up for this hit (apparently real, but not necessarily politically fatal by itself, imo).
