All in all a pretty good day. My son landed at Ben Gurion International at around 6:30 EDT after the classic EL AL 747-400 non-stop from JFK - his first of many trips to Israel I have no doubt, establishing and strengthening that historic bond between the Diaspora and the homeland, as well as the next generation of Americans with a profound understanding of that tiny country.
And, coincidentally, Obama and Bibi have what appears to be a meeting of the minds and an understanding, finally, about Israel’s true security needs.
