Obama Looks for Votes, Support in OhioPosted on Mar 15, 2010
President Obama flew to Rep. Dennis Kucinich’s neck of the woods Monday to rally support for his health care reform package. Kucinich, who has said he would oppose the bill, flew with the president. House Majority Whip James Clyburn said Sunday that Obama didn’t yet have enough votes in his chamber.

Obama: “So, Dennis. How do you like my jet?”
Dennis: “Oooh, Mr President, this is Soooo Coool!!”
Obama: “So, can I count on you to roll over on the health care bill?”
Dennis: “Shit yeah! Are you serious? I’d do anything for a ride in your jet.”
Obama: “Thanks. Later.”
(Obama nods to the secret service agent who hustles Dennis to the back of the plane.)
Dennis (over his shoulder): “Hey, ask the pilot if I can drive…”

Obama’s solution to the skyrocketing price of private health insurance is to force people to buy it. That’ll work.
