Who made your week by speaking truth to power, blowing the whistle or standing up to injustice? Truthdigger of the Week is a feature in which we recognize a person or group that made a difference. See past winners here. Nominate this week’s winner here. Last week, we recognized the Occupy Wall Street protesters, who camped out in the financial district of New York City to demonstrate against the corporate greed they say has taken over America. Our runner-up was MSNBC political analyst Lawrence O’Donnell, one of the only people in the mainstream media to report on the Occupy Wall Street protests last week.
