Nominate Our Next Truthdigger of the WeekPosted on Sep 20, 2011
Who made your week by speaking truth to power, blowing the whistle or standing up to injustice? Truthdigger of the Week is a feature in which we recognize a person or group that made a difference. See past winners here. Nominate this week’s winner here. Last week, we recognized Shoshana Hebshi, a self-described half-Arab, half-Jewish mother from the Midwest, who had the courage to blog about her experience traveling on the anniversary of 9/11, bringing to light the truth about where America stands on racial profiling 10 years after the twin towers fell. The honorable mention went to musician Ry Cooder, whose new album is a commentary on current economic times and the ethics behind what got us here.
