Strife, Doubt in Wake of Nigerian ElectionPosted on Apr 22, 2007An election monitoring group in Nigeria is planning to reject the results of Saturday’s presidential election to replace Olusegun Obasanjo, saying there was corruption in the voting process. The poll results aren’t fully tallied yet, but two of the 24 candidates are accusing the governing People’s Democratic Party of tampering with the political process.
