More Senior Journalists of Murdoch’s Sun ArrestedPosted on Feb 11, 2012
Five senior journalists with The Sun newspaper were arrested early Saturday as part of an investigation into the alleged bribery of police officers and other public officials, bringing the arrests of current or former Sun employees to nine. Rupert Murdoch pledged his continued support for the British paper, which he owns. A police officer, a Ministry of Defense employee and a member of the armed forces were also taken into custody in the case, for suspicion of corruption, misconduct and conspiracy. —ARK
