pensacola oil spill
msnbc.msn.com

On Wednesday, two people were reportedly killed in accidents while working in the Gulf of Mexico cleanup effort, and the containment cap that had incrementally improved the oil spill situation had to be removed after a run-in with a robot sub. Oh, and oil globs began washing ashore in Pensacola, Fla., as locals had been dreading for weeks.  —KA

ABC News:

Oil from the BP oil spill disaster is spewing again into the Gulf of Mexico at nearly full force after a venting system connected the so-called containment cap over the blown-out wellhead was damaged in an accident with a robot sub, said Coast Guard Adm. Thad Allen, the commander in charge of the government’s effort to control the 65-day-old spill.

Separately, Allen said two cleanup workers have died in unrelated accidents in the Gulf, the first deaths reported since 11 people died in when Deepwater Horizon drilling rig burned and began the crisis in April.

The BP oil disaster should be the top story
on Truthdig’s front page every single day
at least until such time as the leak has been plugged.

This environmental holocaust is so important that it ought to be
front and center every single second, even when there’s nothing
“new” to report but the flow another zillion gallons into the Gulf.

This is it, the news??This is a major world disaster, and Truth Dig puts up circulated dumbed down information…There seems to be more ado about the firing of a general, and the continuation of the invasion, occupation and murder in the middle east, to control their oil then this major world wide long term disaster..Maybe Paul McCartney can write a song about this and stick it where the Global warming doesn’t shine…Or maybe the wonderful great progressive liberator savior Obama can chant, “Yes We Can” destroy, maim, strip the earth of all life, love, peace, freedom, health and happiness..This is not a little 9.3 earthquake, or a volcano erupting in Norway…This is the death of the oceans, this is part of our life blood…This is death for all life, ocean and human…Unbelievable, the News Blackout, What is really really going on? This is crazy…Listen to someone who is there, who is a human being, an eye witness, who knows what is happening…http://www.sott.net/articles/show/210973-Power-To-The-People-Louisiana-Woman-Sounds-Alarm-Over-Looming-Gulf-Health-Disaster
This Louisiana woman, Kindra Arnesen, will tell you what the Blacked out news won’t..

The oil will eventually be stopped and we can all go back to watching “reality” tv.

In time Easterner’s can go to the beach and winess, millions of gallons of oil oozing up their coast out into the Atlantic, then accross to Europe, poisoning everything touches, killing the Atlantic.

How long before, it begins poisoning every living thing on the earth?

Essentially, millions are watching the earth bleed to death.

I wonder why, we don’t gather the best minds now available, engineers, scientists from Cal Tech, MIT, geologists, experts in robotics, to save the earth, and life here, before it’s too late.

Maybe our government want’s to commit suicide, maybe the don’t really care, because it’s not something that you can fight, with bombs, and fighter jets, and poltics.

And so the end comes, not with a bang,
but with a flatulant splat.

The fall of Rome repeats itself, first as tragedy,
then as farts.
